Can't understand this "NF rejects" thing! If those songs wouldn't be participating in ESC NF's, would it make them better songs? Huh? And if they wouldn't participate, there wouldn't be Eurovision song contest! Would you like that? Huh? I guess not, so stop blaming people for trying to get to ESC! And if you don't like that those songs are participating, then ban them from the contest and you will not see any of them! There! Returning to the main topic - the results: Well, 8th is decent for a song in russian I guess At least a top10 result! Thank's to my neighbours Indonesia, Croatia, Armenia & Samoa for Also thank's to everyone for the smaller points, although from the ex-Soviet countries I was expecting a bit more, but ok... And now to the moment I like (and laugh about) the most: Also, I suppose the songs that I don't give a single point are the most likely to win, because this isn't the first time that happens... So I apologize to everyone who I give points to in previous editions and in the future! But anyway congratz mimisthesc I personally don't mind ESC NF rejects but I guess the point of the previous posts was actually that sending a NF reject is quite "unoriginal". Anyway, no need for further discussion on that topic again, I guess much has already been said and people are free to send whatever they like.

Time for my post I am of course really glad to have won once again! 17 Editions after my last victory, we're finally going back to Cyprus! I am really happy to have won with a song I really didn't expect too much from. It is a big accomplishment, especially considering the artist is actually the youngest winner we've had so far (if I'm not mistaken) being just 16 years old at the moment (she's turning 17 this year though). Many thanks to everyone who voted for the entry and especially to , , , , and for their points! Despite my victory, I am bit upset that we've had 3 countries not voting in the Final and 1 being disqualified from the semi final even. I really hope the players will be back. I am really happy I won at this specific time actually because summer in Cyprus is awesome and as our weather is great most of the time during the year, the next edition will be refreshing, sunny and perfect for vacations!

Great winner once again! I really like the build-up of the song, and her voice is great. Really happy for to finish in the top 10 from the SC round. Love that song, great vibe! As for my own result: I saw some people write was underrated, but I'm actually not that surprised with my position. I already expected the song not to be enough of a standout to grab people's high points, and unfortunately, that was true. A lot of lower-top 10 scores, but only 2 top 5 scores. Still, thanks everybody for voting to the final again.

"unoriginal" is also sending the same artist multiple times - sometimes even with only a couple editions in between - or using overused songs, but no one seems to really care about that, while with these "NF rejects" there's always a big fuss.

I personally don't mind ESC NF rejects but I guess the point of the previous posts was actually that sending a NF reject is quite "unoriginal". Anyway, no need for further discussion on that topic again, I guess much has already been said and people are free to send whatever they like. "unoriginal" is also sending the same artist multiple times - sometimes even with only a couple editions in between - or using overused songs, but no one seems to really care about that, while with these "NF rejects" there's always a big fuss. The same artist being sent multiple times is not really "unoriginal" if you ask me, especially when it comes to small countries like Cyprus or Malta... Our music industries are just too small so we have to go for the same artists, especially since we might have other artists whose songs are just not good. As for "overused songs", that's also something subjective as it really depends on the players. For instance, I am not in any other contest so if someone sends a song that has been sent in many online contests before, then that one will be considered "unoriginal" by some players, whereas I might be hearing it for the first time... However, as most people participating in online contests are Eurovision fans, with many of them even following the several NF's going on, it's obvious that a NF reject will be considered as "unoriginal" by more players. Anyway, just to end this discussion, I will say it once again: "Everyone can send whatever they want". At the end of the day, even when people complained for the many NF rejects last Edition, we saw that the whole TOP 5 except the 3rd place were actually NF rejects.

I hope you all have seen the results already. Because if you haven't, then is this now the moment you'll get spoiled.
Statistics of all 12 points given in the finalCountry | Amount of 12 points received | Received from | Cyprus | 6x | Taiwan, France, Malta, Turkey, Mexico, United States | Taiwan | 5x | Brazil, Slovenia, China, Serbia, Rest of the World | Norway | 4x | Italy, Germany, Japan, Ukraine | Vietnam | 4x | Switzerland, Moldova, Sweden, Spain | Czech Republic | 4x | Cyprus, Israel, Ethiopia, Hungary | Italy | 4x | Austria, Finland, India, Croatia | South Korea | 3x | Czech Republic, Vietnam, The Philippines | Israel | 3x | Norway, Ireland, Canada | Japan | 2x | South Korea, Denmark | Ukraine | 2x | Indonesia, Armenia | Brazil | 2x | Costa Rica, Belgium | Samoa | 2x | The Netherlands, Romania | Indonesia | 1x | Kazakhstan | Moldova | 1x | Samoa | The Netherlands | 1x | Latvia | Kazakhstan | 1x | Russia | Latvia | 1x | Greece | Austria | 1x | Slovakia | The Philippines | 1x | Montenegro |
That means 19 different entries have received at least 1 set of 12 points. The others are all of the songs outside the top 20 (excluding Moldova and The Netherlands) alongside France and Germany. Some fun facts again: - Taiwan: Everytime the country gets into top 3 it receives at least 5x .
- Israel: Since the user changed the country has received 2 finals. Both times it then received 2x .
- It's the first time since I started these rankings that the top 2 consists of 2 island countries. Also while Taiwan reached it already several times before Cyprus never did.
