well, that selection process was a huge waste of time and effort, lol but if we ignore that and go to the song instead, this is how a Greek song should sound like. not incredibly stupid lyrics (rain falls from above), no generic sounding music (2014 and 2015 literally says hi), and no basic singing style (2014 and 2017 need some lessons). "Oneiro Mou" has everything that a Greek song should have sounded right after 2013's "Alcohol Is Free", and it does it incredibly well. it combines the ancient ethnic Greek sound and singing style, and also makes it sound really modern for the 2018 contest. and it's fully in greek, which just adds more fuel to the everblazing fire of "Oneiro Mou". the calm ancient feel of the song really makes the listener take in all that is happening in the song, and as for myself, I enjoy every single second of this. at the moment, I would only give it a 10, but the song is already growing on me for that 12. damn I love this song. this song has a huge staging potential, and I can actually say right now that Greece is probably looking towards a top 10 placement in May. and while I am at it: I L I V E for the instrumentals before the third chorus. it has that perfect build up, until the violins pop in, and it's from there were the song sounds the very best. literally give me a instrumental version of the whole song, and trust me, I will stan the living shit out of this. bless you Greece for going back to what you originally were: a powerhouse.

Nice song but I'm missing something. Maybe with a live perfomance it will level up my points. Plus, I'm happy they're singing in Greek. Up to I'm really into this song. I just don't give it 12 because I think the lyrics are really basic but I love the instrumental and I hope the live perfomance to be amazing.

I'll give this one a strong . At first listen, the strength of this song and how much it captivates me as a listener did not meet my eye. This is one of the stronger entries of an already very strong ESC edition. While it gets for lyrics, it gets for voice and melody. Waiting for a live performance to add as a criterion.
