today we mourn the loss of musical integrity part 2. in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life through our lord jesus christ, we commend to almighty god our brother; and we commit his body to the ground; earth to earth; ashes to ashes, dust to dust. the lord bless him and keep him, the lord make his face to shine upon him and be gracious unto him and give him peace. amen.

This performance was something else but it's a solid entry. At least he is not as bland as Robin was last year and I would not be mad if this qualifies. That jacket and the red mic were CHOICES, though.

That jacket and the red mic were CHOICES, though. At least he didn't use a hairdryer like Felix.

I'm giving him for now. It's too generic for me plus his vocals are really bad.

It grew on me in the last few days however I have the feeling that this song won because of the staging. Without the staging wouldn't have that impressive effect. One of the best won, but not the best.

this is a bop and I'm not even sorry, this will get me crazy on the ESC Thursday (and most likely Saturday) night I'm almost sure it's getting top 10, especially that the performance is really good too

I like it, and I think it deserves a spot in the final. Sweden knows they always send fast food music. They're mastered the art of generic pop, so they make up for it with brilliant staging. Cases in point: 2011, 2012 (but "Euphoria" deserved to win tho), 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018. 2013 and 2016 were "meh" staging-wise in my opinion. I think Benjamin and his team exploited the fact that Lisbon won't have LEDs on the stage, so they made sure not to incorporate it at all in his performance. Those light tubes were effective. Damn you, Sweden.
