I was actually looking forward to give Waylon a
, shame it didn't happen.None of the other songs weren't that perfect either, and they didn't sound that great either after only skimming through each song.
I thought it would be better to just wait for the official Eurovision entry, and then decide to analyse the song after that, and I am glad that I did.
This is country-rock done good. Waylon delivers this song with fantastic vocals, and just delivers the song to a high level.
The song is well written, and the lyrics are really creative. Waylon sure lifts these things up in the song a lot.
In all honesty, I see no flaw in "Outlaw in 'Em" at all.
I am giving it an
mostly because the song doesn't give me the "perfect song" vibe, but I sure as hell wouldn't skip this if it was ever playing on my playlist.The Netherlands should feel proud of their selected song, as I am sure that this could give them their 3rd top 15 in a row. Kudos to you, Waylon and NL
for now.
