Moreover, I doubt all these websites would actually reveal this National Selection and its format with so many details even, if they didn't know anything about it or if it were just some random saying by some random person.  I have to disagree on that, as last year there were some very detailed rumours about the  German NS which suggested a similar format as in 2012, if I remembee correctly, which obviously turned out wrong  |

Oh, look. Two pages already!  A National Selection would be a great idea for  France. Hopefully, the budget is high on this one so that they can possibly include international juries. I'm very optimistic that their new HoD has big plans for the success and upward momentum of France. |

UPDATE ABOUT THE FRENCH NATIONAL SELECTION
Some news have been revealed today concerning the French NS (in French) by some news website,
here is a summary of what was announced
, en Anglais, svp !
•  French/Canadian singer Garou would be the host of the selection.
• 3 Shows, held in January, would be made for choosing the French artist for ESC,
Two Semi-finals, where around 15 singers will be evaluated by a professional jury,
and a Final, to be broadcasted live, where the winner will be choosed
by the votes of an European Jury and the Televote.

Luiri, just wondering, how accurate is that website? I wrote about the French NS a couple of hours ago (that website was my source) and underlined that this still wasn't confirmed by France 2.

The first Semi-Final of the French National Selection, Destination Eurovision 2018 will be
broadcasted on the Saturday 13 January 2018, at 20:55CET - on France 2 (obvi)
Nothing has been announced concerning the second Semi-Final and the Final as of now.

SNIPPET OF THE FIRST NS SONGAfter showing three snippets of 3 differents Songs (on this video), they also confirmed via that video that
the songs of the French National Selection will be revealed one by one until the start of the selection.
