- Songs not in English, but not in the country's official language(s) either. - Bands (or duos) that contain atleast one male and atleast one female member too (doesn't get any more sex equal). - Songs released only in 2018.- Deep research (someone else suggested something similar too, with <100K views. Maybe it could be <100K views or the number could be shortened to <50K, <20K, <10K or even <5K). - Have to send the WORST SONGS EVER, and people don't vote for the songs they like the most, but the ones they hate the most. - Young singers only (Don't necessarily have to be minors, maybe <20 years old could do too, at that time ofc). - Songs in own language I also thought of very popular songs (e.g. >50M views but Idk if some countries have that popular songs). Themes I +1, the ones in bold I like even more. Young singers would be great to have under 20 or under 25 for countries with smaller industries. Popular songs won't work with over 50M for Slovenia either. Here I suggest over 1M for smaller countries. And maybe some exceptions for extra small ones.
Not much I can suggest at this point, but I do have one. A song that has traditional/national elements or is fully traditional, or in what is considered national genre. On the flipside, mentioning the country name in the lyrics or title and/or is about the country it represents.

Every participant would have to propose three keywords. Then the keywords would be reassigned randomly and each player would have to send a song that is related to one of the three keywords (or even two or three if he can) he received. For example, if one of your keywords is "country", then you can send a country song, or a song with "country" in the title, or with a video filmed in the countryside, or whatever connection with the word. The idea of several keywords is because a word could be hard to use with some countries (for example "snow" for Cameroon...), so being able to choose among three words seems quite fair.

i’m 99% sure this is an old ESC voting style but what if we all had like 10-20 points to give out and you could give like a max of 10 points to a country (5 if there is only 10 points to give out)

People assigned to pick three songs for another nation visa versa. For example: I get assigned to pick three songs for Mexico, I send the three songs to the Mexican user and he picks out of one of the three choices. Etc. This one is so good ngl

Anyway I thought about doing all the countries of a continent in a semi final: The other one is to do a melfest style

Or All European in a semi & the rest in the other one. Qualifying the proportional part of all finalists

I echo the idea of only sending LGBTQ+ artists for the special edition, since it's pride season at the moment the idea to use a different voting style is cool too but I'd honestly struggle to give points to more than 10 countries
