Alright, so another edition is gone! Congratulations to India for their first victory ever in the contest! I am glad, firstly because it is a song I voted for, meaning that I personally liked it and secondly because we have a new winning country! To be honest, I don't really mind my own placing. I didn't expect much but thanks to everyone who supported me, especially Romania for their , as well as FYR Macedonia for their support in the semi final and the great comments about my song. I see many people wondering how Brazil made it so far. Let me tell you this, apparently the song touched a big number of the voters. One of them was also me, hence my to them in both the semi final and the final. I really found it beautiful and heartfelt and I am glad because Brazil is a country that has been getting quite mediocre results in the past (with some exceptions of course). Congratulations to them again! Also a big congratulations to France for their 3rd place, to Belgium for coming back to the final and climbing up to 4th after having been out of it for quite some editions and also to Luxembourg for achieving their first TOP 10 placing ever. Iceland deserves my personal admiration for having passed every single round possible (PQR, SF, SCR and GF ) and finally having ended up in the TOP 10! This is a quite weird accomplishment that is worth mentioning, I guess! Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this edition interesting and see you in New Delhi for the 56th Edition!

Another very underwhelming winner imho. Still congrats there. I love that you use Taj Mahal as background next time (It's not exactly in New Delhi tho ) Omg I'm so happy Luan did so well. I thought people would rather consider it as boring. Congrats for being the first runner-up to pass 200 points btw. ) Happy for this one too as you can see from my votes. Other mentions: I love how currently it finishes in top 10 with no matter what. I wasn't really a fan, but I'm happy for the first top 10. I'm surprised they didn't go straight into top 10 or 5 respectively. Yay! I predicted it getting like 20 points (which was also a reason why my went to the other side of the globe instread of doing cheesy neighbour voting btw.). I didn't see it doing too well from the beginning. However it definitely deserved more than 26th place... I know that's rude, but I'm extremely happy this finished last! the Netherlands Spain are both overrated. I also was absolutely not a fan of Sweden, Israel, Ukraine, Armenia and Portugal so I'm happy they went to the bottom
I'm not sure about my semi results, but think I just unlocked another achievment with finishing 11th in the semi - and even more with failing by 1 point only.

After 55th editions I finally got a last place, new achievement unlocked I don't think it was deserved, but when sending such a song in a contest like this it would be totally unrealistic to expect much more. Anything but bottom 3/5 would have really surprised me Maybe a few more points would've been nice, anyway I want to thank those people who voted for me, especially Fifi for Personally I like the winner a lot, my , so congratulations to India Also the 2nd place is good, a classy, beautiful song He looks like a possible 4th member of Il Volo to me Even if I didn't vote for it in the final, congratulations France for the 3rd place ^^ Same goes for other countries who reached a great result, like Luxembourg with their first top 10 or Iceland who went through all possible rounds and probably others I can't think of right now South Korea and Turkey are rather underrated, on the other hand I'm glad for Slovenia to get an actually decent placing with this kind of entry.

Thanks for your loyalty and interest (even if we might not always agree on everything ) I'm sure you'll find something Time really does pass, but I'd rather it didn't (not talking about the contest) I did find - just a random song, that I thought I'll give a try... it's one of those songs that will have (most likely) some people that might like it very much and some that will dislike it, so we'll see... or it might just fail miserably

SUBMISSIONS TO OPEN TOMORROW AT 15:00 CEST! Tomorrow, at exactly this time that the post you're currently reading was posted, we will open the thread for the WWW Song Contest #56! This means that you will also be able to submit your entries from that time on. We would like to remind you that our submissions procedure has changed. For the first time ever, we will NOT reserve the place for anyone hosting a National Selection. This means that countries which have opened their National Selections for the 56th Edition should make sure to close them and submit their entries in time, otherwise they will have to participate in the Pre-Qualification Round ( or maybe even not at all). We hope to see as many of you as possible joining us!
