I didn't see anything in the post saying that you can't PM your entries and seeing that I sent my entry via PM at 22:09:42 CET whilst the Romanian was sent at 22:53:59 CET (44 minute difference), I'm wondering why Romania's entry was considered sent earlier than Canada's? (I've sent my entry via PM on several instances before, with Canada being confirmed as a participant before posting the entry.) Unless Romania did also send the entry via PM beforehand, I'd like to appeal for my rightful spot as one of the semi-finalists. ( ferrygraf )

( ferrygraf ) As my co-admin said, it wasn't about the speed here, Romania such as Luxembourg, Denmark, Poland and Portugal secured their spot (as they didn't participate last edition) by voting in the Rest of the world jury in the last final. The explanation about that can be found in the first post of this thread. It's my fault here, I shouldn't have removed the abbreviation/the bracket next to these countries, I'll put it there again, sorry for the confusion... In case one of the reserved people don't send an entry, you'll be the first to get directly into the semi-finals.

Anyways, I think the confirmations should start at a more standard time benefiting not just the European users, but also Americans as I would have to confirm at 7:00 AM in the morning whilst Europeans would be able confirm at the comfortable time of 3:00 PM. This already affected me some times, like last edition I decided to start a national selection last minute for a spot, and once in Retro, but I guess majority rules.

Well, I know but we can't fix time zones or something on our own benefit I also wish it were the same for everyone. However it's sometimes not a good time for Europeans either as some might be working or might be in school/college etc. In any case, the reason we set the time to be usually at like 14:00 or 15:00 is because this means it's going to be early morning and quite late night for Americans and Asians but it's not like it's going to be 4 AM for someone... So we just have to open the submissions around that time...
