 I'm really happy with her advancing.  +  They're both alright, but a bit overrated. The other 4 out of the group I really wanted in the final are     . Needless to say that they're underrated. Btw. did you notice how close the whole thing was when even the 10th got over 100 points.  |

My Hispanic roots are exploding so hard with frustration, but I think I should congratulate the qualifiers and I wish you luck. I hope this doesn't mean that you're rating songs by "hispanic/non-hispanic" (and giving higher points to hispanic songs, just because they are hispanic), because that wouldn't be nice (in terms of contest), even though we can understand, why you like hispanic music... I'm not really a fan of bloc-voting, because then the whole buzz about the results start fading, because we already know half or at least 1/3 of users and their possible votes just because they seem to support the same countries/genres almost every time... But I hope I misunderstand you and you are not one of those bloc-voters  *coff Montenegro *coff |

Apparently, as my entry didn't advance to the final, my "journey" for this edition ends somewhere here... However, to be honest, despite the fact I am of course a bit disappointed in my result, I guess it would've been better for me to stay out of the 2nd Chance Round as I really wanted to vote there  I guess the SCR results are alright. Bad thing is that if I had voted, 1 of the 3 qualifiers would've received my  point so obviously I'd rather it were someone else instead of them...  By the way, just for the record, the last time  Samoa qualified was in the 53rd edition, when they made it again via the 2nd Chance Round and that was also the last time  Australia had qualified (again directly from its semi) before qualifying again this edition! |

Being 4th, with only  points of difference with the 3rd, is really heartbreaking! I really liked my entry this time and, like other said in the previous posts, when you fail with an entry you really like is the worst. However, I should not complain so much after the very good results I've had in the last editions! Thanks to all the users that supported my entry so far. |

But I hope I misunderstand you and you are not one of those bloc-voters Im sorry I caused this kind of confusion, the only part of that post that was meant to be taken seriosuly was the fact one of the finalists make me cringe and the rankings, evertything before was meant over the top and sarcastically, I admit that I like hispanic music and that i send a lot for the contests, but im not voting a song just because is hispanic, there are songs that i absolutely despise that are very popular and are hispanic, I posted it as a joke because i noted that in my votes I did top two the spanish songs, without noticing it, it seemed funny to say it because was just shear coincidence, it was just that i liked both songs, but not by their language but by the merit of the songs, im going to be honest and admit that i rank pretty high certain songs from artists i like even if i havent heard the song, but i do that in all languages so is no hispanic bias, and also was like an auto joke on me, because in the past i have had problems with people who think im to nationalistic in my votes, and that i was being to self centered in music from my country or close countries, but i actually dont believe those claims, its just coincidence, because as i am living in a spanish speaking country theres more possibilty to hear music in spanish in the radio than in english, so it was very funny when i heard the songs and were songs that i knew and i liked so i voted for them, its not like if i am on a nationalistic crusade where everything in spanish is good and everything in other langages is the devil, im just a person who likes music and by shear luck to songs that i like ended up in my possibilitie of voting and i voted for them, a lot of other rankings i have made for other contests have a lot of variety and you can see spanish songs low, simply because i dont like the song, Im sincerely sorry that my little joke brought so much problem |
