Oh and by the way, the real "Joe" (this person really exists) is actually a woman.  |

 PHILIPPINES Song - "Be My Lady" Artist - Martin Nievera Recap - 2:12+ Released in 1994 I received the theme of "slow" tempo, which doesn't really help since the Philippines >>>LOVES<<< slow songs in general. 
I PM'd a different song for approval, but I ultimately decided not to submit it. I decided to send a beautiful ballad by a renowned Filipino singer who I share my username with.
I hope that since it's a ballad, it's slow enough.  |

I guess Tom didn't write 1983 (which was before Bryan was famous worldwide to my knowledge) for no reason. nijat What's the outcome of ours now? I mean I've a song for both of our topics (one of them would be last again ), but I'd first need clarity. I am very sorry, Fabbi, but I guess male band is the best topic I could get through the draws. Therefore, I will stay with it, I hope this is not impolite. |

 Azerbaijan is back in the game with a bit contemporary (2007) rock song that was a soundtrack of the movie about miserable and torturous lives of six young orphans, including the themes, such as drug dealing, crimes, savage, etc. For the timeframe, please take 3:03- onwards. What makes it so special? The other mentions are well-known too (and were more successful too back then. ) Well, I am personally not so much into retro music and retro songs in general. The fact I know and recognize that song just by its title means something to me (happens with many known songs that have won this contest btw)...  nijat What's the outcome of ours now? yes I'm serious with it.
One of the bigger Swiss hits of the 90s (excluding DJ Bobo of course). Back in 1996 it reached #4 and stayed in top 10 for a total of 13 weeks and in the end #12 in the year-end-chart. It also reached the top 5 in Austria and Germany. I don't expect a lot with it, but I got something to defend (or not lol) and as long as it gets 18 points I'm fine with the ranking. According to Wikipedia Peter Steiner is the oldest artist I've ever sent here (79 years old at that time). He was advertising chocolates (what else?  ) on TV starting in 1993 and became known as "The cool man". A picture of him in 2007. |
