Well, coming from someone who thought of withdrawing after NQ'ing sometimes, it's no use. If not enough people vote for your song, you fail in the semis. Idk why you would say that when Spain has been quite successful lately. well this thought about withdrawing it's in my mind since some esitions ago Don't you think you overreact for a 12th place in semi-final? You should know how semi-finals work: only half of the players vote. If you're unlucky, these players are those who don't like your song. A 12th place doesn't mean that you wouldn't have qualified anyway. Losing in semi-final is never a pleasure, especially when you play with your own country. I'm quite annoyed when it happens to me with France, and it's even worse when it is with Italy or San Marino. If you really think that your results are not as expected for many editions for Spain, you should perhaps switch to another country, a country that you also like but wouldn't care so much but if you are not qualified with it. I personally took this kind of decision in Mysterious Song Contest: you will never see me again hosting Italy in that contest but I take there the opportunity to host countries I like but don't have the opportunity to play with in other contests. You may think that winning with your own country is the best. That is not always true. I won six contests so far (one with , one with , one with , two with and one with Oklahoma) but the victory I appreciated the most was the one with Ulrika at Europe Melody Song Contest 1. And therefore, I waited my first victory with Italy so much that I thought it would be my greatest.

Back in the final! Thank you. I got scared for a minute. Sad to see some NQ's, but VERY please with most of the qualifiers. See you in the final.

Thanks for this speech, and yes you're right, why withdrawing from the contest when I can take another country and discover their music ?. My first victory in this Forum was with Spain in RWWWSC45 and I'm proud of it ngl. So after thinking some time, I'll leave Spain from FoM, and will take another country (and will try to send original stuff).

Note to myself, never, NEVER send Ella - Ricardo Arjona again, is my worst bomb not only in this contest but in all contests ive enered with that song, it stayed on the semifinals of contest with semifinals, and in the last places of contests with only finals, I sincerely never expected that, with this song, AND then people fight me over why I always send the same songs or ollder songs to contests, because when I sen something new (this is Ricardo Arjona latest song) this happens. But hey you win ones you lose some, I wont give up, now i have to prepare for next edition

inactivo Basically what italix said, I've also been barely qualifying once every three editions in my own contest with my own country In these forums, failing to qualify is a very common thing, for example I failed 9 times with Turkmenistan in NNMC before I got a 2nd place And in this same contest, some countries have qualified like twice in 10 editions and they still stay here trying to get a good result. fabbi hadn't qualified since the 9th edition, 21 editions ago Of course you are free to do what you think is the best and I'll respect your decision
