That was the most confusing TT show we've ever had. I even left completely when we were asked to change the page as that one wasn't the best either.
Anyway let's get to the results:
Anyway let's get to the results:
Wildcards:
I love how Australia got 100% of the points from the admins. It's not the most surprising winner as it's the highest placing wildcard in the edition. I was almost giving it , but then decided to like Vietnam a little more.
I'm surprised in a positive way that Samoa placed 2nd.
Then Germany and Turkey were the rather obvious bottom places. From the others around there I find Iceland overrated and Latvia and Vietnam (its sudden rise at the end tho. ) underrated. On the other side of the table Chile is overrated.
3rd-Places:
Was the obvious winner not gonna lie, but I expected her to win with a higher gap than just 4 points, which I'm however not complaining about. Italy and France are an amazing top 3 (in fact those 3 were indeed my and ). Seeing such close voting was amazing (not sure if I'd say that as well if I were there ), but the entries receiving the top 3 points rising from the bottom 3 to the top places at some point was confusing.
The full results are quite good although Slovakia is very overrated.
Runner-Ups:
The huge success of Te Vivo is beyond me even though I'm a big fan of it. Today I got to the conclusion that it's not a too surprising winner either as Luan's the only entrant to have passed 200 points (which is also between 20+ - 40+ than the competitors) without winning.
Latvia's second place is beyond me as well, but I'm not complaining there either. USA however were rather not exactly in my favour if I may be honest. Plus Cuba's 9th place was expected, yet shocking to see.
Winners:
That was the only category where imo the whole withtheingn was unpredictable from the start. And I loved how it suddenly was 6/10 entries battling for the win throughout most of the second half. At that point I wouldn't have minded any of them winning (expect ). The only one I find underrated is (as India's counterpart) is Singpore.
Btw. I noticed:
It's the first time that the entries coming from the second half aren't winning the majority. In fact it's an exact 2/2.
The winner of the winner category has for the 6th time been a female solo artist.
