No massive shocks really the 7 guaranteed all got through. Glad didn't and I finally liked Latvia (but still not good enough) Albania was really lucky (before anyone starts listen lol) I really like this song but that performance was the worst I seen of her. The rehearsals had problems but looked better. please let a song like this win or is my fav to win

(albania) - Thought this would be lost in the melee, I nearly had a heart attack when it went
(norway) - I'm so happy for them
(sweden)- LOVE LOVE LOVE this song
(denmark) - No.
(azerbaijan) - I love this too
(switzerland) - Ditto
(russia) - This was just ok, I expected it to go
(malta) - I LOVE THIS AS WELL

(armenia) - SHE SINGS SO GREAT, WHY DIDN'T THIS GO???
(ireland) - Blah
(moldova) - I'm mixed
(romania) - I LOVED THIS TOO WTF
(lithuania) - Eh?
(croatia) - Ditto
(austria) - 2018 was better in my opinion (sry i am trying to make flags)

Tho after Srbuk's performance I felt like she might not qualify, the staging was well.. Boring, nothing special

You forgot Latvia! But I can see why - it was just THAT forgettable...

Armenia - great vocal but felt like Tijana from Serbia 2017 (idk who to spell her name). Nice but nothing more which isn't a enough. Maybe if on later it would have go through but that's something we'll never know.
Ireland - I was expected more but in the end I just felt a bit bored and was ready for it to end
Moldova - boring ballad tbh, and the sand art wasnt that amazing. My family were confused why it was even there in the first place. Side note - it didnt look like sand at first but rather we all thought she was about to do 30 lines of coke.
Switzerland - in the rehearsal clips I was underwhelmed but on the night really stood and deservedly qualified.
Latvia - it just wasn't very captivating and I was over it. Why did they dress that beautiful women like a weird/evil looking hipster bride. Odd.
Romania - this was a major robbery, I really thought it deserved qualification. I loved the quirky staging and her great voice and that bass omg. But in a cruel irony, loving it was a hard price to pay cos now I'm gutted. POOR ESTHER. WE STILL STAN.
Sweden - just great. John was such a good stage presence and I love his backing singers. Idk if it will win but it'll do bloody well and has the soul that some nordic entries lack.
Austria - I thought this could be a shock qualifier but I am relieved it didnt (no offence). Nice staging but ultimately the song is boring.
Croatia - the only truly eurovison wacky staging of the night. Great vocal, but again a weak song. I feel this could have been 12th or 13th.
Malta - Michela slayed me so badly. I lost my semi final voting virginity so this girl can slay again. They had me so nervous - i thought she was in a box but my girl found her way out!!! Cos I was convinced Austria or Croatia would make it but thank the lord and his sweet baby jesus. I really really hope this gets top 5 Saturday. Love you Malta and Michela.
Lithuania - see Armenia. Just didnt make enough of an impact, and much less than Srbuk. Pleasant but nothing more or nothing left
Russia - after all this hype it was underwelhming and imho upstaged by North Macedonia of all countries. Always gonna qualify but imho wouldn't a deserving winner - the song just isnt strong enough. Sergey slayed live though.
Albania - biggest shock for me in terms of result, I really thought this was out. Fair play to Albania it's a good song, Janida's voice was amazing and I love the ethnic element. I cant argue it wasnt merited but I lowkey would have swapped this with Romania (why is this semi so strong smh)
Norway - very Eurovision and just three minutes of light hearted fun. Well deserved and i think Norway could be heading for a left hand side placement
Flagnetherland Netherlands - touching, magical, and still in contention always gonna qualify. I dont by any means this this is a run away victor but I think it can still do it.
North Macedonia - shock of the evening. I loved this performance and I even got winner vibes. My sister thinks this is gonna win. Idk if it will but I think this is their best entry ever off the top of my head. Tamara slayed, visually, audible and as DebanAderemiWiwiBloggsDotCom would say SEXUALLY hunty. Love this.
Azerbaijan - I mean good performance but slightly overhyped and idk how this is ~3rd in the bookies' odds. Deserved qualification though!!

Onward and upwards to Saturday. I am dreading this years post-Eurovision depression as I feel this has been a really exceptional strong year.

Btw is it just me or do they purposedly make Latvia perform right after and before a strong stage show songs? I mean last year Laura Risotto performed after AWS and before Benjamin Ingrosso and both had very strong stage performances, this year the same with performing after Luca Hänni and before Ester Peony..
