Official Maps of the Republic of Jondelsia
As by the Decentralization Law passed in 1996 and still valid to this day, the Republic of Jondelsia is composed of seven federal regions who have a high degree of autonomy, since they have their own government and may pass their own laws inside the country. Afterwards, these federal regions subdivide in 19 districts.

The seven federal regions regions of the country
The federal regions (føderale områder), are the first sub-national level of political and administrative division of the Republic of Jondelsia. These are composed by two to five districts each depending on their cultural similarities and geographical location as all of these federal regions have their own official language and use them in official communications. The federal districts have their own government and they exercise their right to self-government within the limits set forth in the constitution and organic laws known as the Autonomous Laws, which broadly define the powers that they assume. Each statute sets out the devolved powers for each federal region.
List of federal regions:
• Fredréa ( Aquian-speaking region), composed by 5 districts, located mostly in the north, alongside the border with Fyor
• Aransk ( Flírsk-speaking region), composed by 3 districts, located around the center
• Dyshgrad ( Turlandish-speaking region), composed by 2 districts, located in the northeast
• Merlów ( Levallese-speaking region), composed by 3 districts, located in the south, sharing borders with Fyor and Levalle
• Narenalia ( Lanovian-speaking region, also the home to some Aston communities), composed by 3 districts, located in the west, sharing border with Vikyirie

bydeler
All bydeler and their respective capitals
The second-level administrative unit in Jondelsia are the districts (bydeler), who are mostly composed by municipalities (kommuner) and cities (byen), with the expection of the Federal District, which is solely composed by the national capital city Lepalia. When the Decentralization Law was passed and the bydeler were established, all district capitals were assigned to the most populated city of their respective areas. As an administrative division, each district serves mainly as the area of jurisdiction of a civil governor, who acts as the local delegate for the government of their respective federal region.
