 FIFTH SONG ANNOUNCEMENTBrimheim (formerly Elin Brimheim Heinesen) was born in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. Brimheim is not just a singer and songwriter but also a journalist and editor.
She works as a media and development manager at Kringvarp Føroya (KVF) which is why the broadcaster is delighted to have representation. Brimheim's music is alternative but she has been influenced by Jazz throughout her musical career. Her song for Sangur vár is called "Awake".

LAST SONG ANNOUNCEMENTVSJ feat. Davur is a producer and singer duet from the Faroe Islands. VSJ started out as a hobby music producer with his own mixes.
He joined with several different Faroese singers later in his career. VSJ's musical style is pop. VSJ and Davur will be presenting their song "Something Magical".

Awake is boring imo. Something magical is not essentially bad, but I find it a little cheap and it partly sounds like he wouldn't say boo to a goose and sings too much through his teeth (don't know how to say that in English). However I loved watching the video, which is probably my favourite one of the 6 (respectively 5 as Soundcloud isn't a video lol). I'll vote probably tonight.  |
