This time we will send the synth trio Exiles and their song Red Lights. Proof of them being Irish in case of confusion

This post looks probably very fucked up lol.

Idk how familiar you are with my entries, but over the last 4.5 years I (by chance) already sent artists from almost 20 countries (only estimated number - I can give you the exact list if you want me to) from 4 different continents. The most notable ones are Tina Turner, Timati and Lene Marlin.

And now I recently realized that the last time I sent one of them was Dodo (who's not even that much foreigner) back in #58. That's why I decided to send Cape Town based Swiss - South African artist Jeremy Loops to represent Switzerland with the 2015 song Down South! This is also (kind of) a tribute to my first edition (#39 editions ago), which was held in Australia.('cause down under lol).




I'm just kidding. Thats not the actual reason why I do that.
In fact this song was played on the radio back in January (and still is frequently played) with the "message" of him being officially Swiss (as well as some other useless stuff). I found it really addictive and immediately added it to my list of summer entries. However around 2 months ago I actually realized that it fits the best into September and went for Hours instead.

Please tell me asap if it's not allowed so I have enough time for a replacement.

Cyprus in WWW Song Contest #65

I actually had a very hard time thinking of what to send this edition as I was really running out of ideas. However, I (fortunately) discovered something I really liked only a few days ago. A good research always helps you discover new things and in this case, a video posted a bit over a month ago with slightly more than 500 views is going to be my next entry. However, the most surprising thing is that the song comes from an artist you all probably know.

That artist is no other than Maria Elena Kyriakou! The song was recorded recently in Cyprus and the title of the song is 'Paphos'. Paphos is one of the main districts of the island and it is located at its western point. According to one legend, there is a rock which is the site of the birth of the goddess Aphrodite, perhaps owing to the foaming waters around the rock fragments, and for this reason it is known as Aphrodite's Rock. In this song, Maria Elena praises the beauty of this wonderful city which we, Cypriots from the other cities sometimes make fun of for several reasons but we still love people from there.
