WWW Song Contest #66

First things first, I would like to mention that this edition marks my 40th participation as an Azerbaijani representative. I made my debut in the 22nd edition of WWWSC and withdrew temporarily twice due to personal problems. However, I am very delighted to have devoted my five years to WWWSC and it is really unbelieveable that I was only 17 years old when I joined the contest On the other hand, I am happy with participating in Retro WWWSC as well where I managed to send many more songs personally appealing to my music taste and where I achieved some successful results. I would like to thank Florian, Mimis and Jasna for their dedication and outstanding work that made these contests what they are now. Now, it is time to reveal Azerbaijani entry!

11 players of WWWSC decided that nothing is better than celebrating my 40th participation in the WWWSC with a sexy pop act from Azerbaijan!

Samra Rahimli, an Azerbaijani representative in Eurovision Song Contest 2016, was chosen to take part in the 66th edition of WWWSC on behalf of Azerbaijan. Her brand-new single "Пиджак", generated huge controversy in the country because of the newly released music video causing polarized views in the conservative music industry of Azerbaijan. Пиджак is a song about a young girl from Baku, who bothered by studying a lot, wants to experience a nightlife. We hope our jubilee participation in WWWSC will be successful and in this path, wish good luck to Samra!

Without much being said, Samra is ready to present you the story of a good girl gone bad!

Slovenian entry for edition 66 was selected via 13th National Selection - Sunny Side of Alps.
The winner became 21-year-old Neža Devčić. She previously appeared in the national selection as a part of the group Tequila.
Besides that, she's very new in the music industry, and there isn't much information about her.

After 7 editions  Slovenian language finally returns to the contest!
