would've been great to ask me before since I planned to send this very soon Maybe I don't understand something in this situation (if so, then, please, forgive me), but why would he have to ask you, if you both have equal rights to send her? With equal I mean - she's 50% french and 50% german. If there isn't any greater reason of why you would have priorities on her, then I don't see a reason for italix to ask for your permission... but as I said - this is only how I see this situation. No offence to any of you.

Had I never used her before then it'd be different but I think you should ask before using a singer that was sent by someone else before. And based on her life and career I'd classify her as more German than French, but that's irrelevant to my point When I sent Sunrise Avenue I also asked the Finnish player for approval, even if I didn't have to, because it's the polite thing to do

I am not against you in this situation, because there have been many artists that have been used by some countries even with less than 50% belonging to specific country. For example, Vitas - an artist I've used. From the little information we know about him, he's only born in Latvia, and Ukraine would have the priority on him, but no ukrainian player has come to me to ask me not to use him, so I suppose it's fine that I do. I'm actually fine if someone uses artists I've used as long as they aren't more than 50% latvian, which would give me the priority. And even then we could make compromise. These 50/50 situations are tricky, because both technically have equal rights, as long as there are no rules in contest that require permissions from users who've used the artist first/have the priority on the artist.

Well yeah I'm not angry about it or think that I'm the only one who can use her but still I would've appreciated to have gotten asked before because I wouldn't just use an artist that represented France in an earlier edition without asking Italix whether he's okay with it I don't think it needs to be a rule but personally I think it's polite to ask someone for approval in a case like this, even if it's technically not required
