I know right. Spain was also underrated when they decided to enter their first-ever boy band, D'Nash in 2007 (20th). I mean, I don't expect Soraya to win 'cause I'm in favor of Fairytale (the best Eurovision winner, ever! IMHO), but to be in the last place along with Lithuania (one of the most powerful ballads I've heard in Eurovision)? C'mon? There are other songs in this edition worse than these amazing songs. Not to mention, the performance was a killer!

Here's my revised list of the most underrated songs of Eurovision:

2007 I Love You Mi Vida
2008 Hero
2009 Love and La Noche Es Para Mi
2010 Jas Ja Imam Silata, Milim, It's All About You and Je Ne Sais Quoi
2011 Jestem, Ding Dong, Angel In Disguise and I Can (a bit)
2012 Love Is Blind


I have to agree with Max that Fairytale was an overrated song because it was promoted across Europe long before Eurovision (or I think the Norwegian national selections) started, but I can't blame anyone for not liking the song. First time I heard it, it was GREAT (a seldom thing to happen to me)!

2010 would've been good for Belarus if they didn't change the song from Far Away to that lame 'Butterflies'.

I think Pastora Soler's Tu Vida Es Tu Vida is better than Quedate Conmigo but what the heck, Spain got in the Top 10.

2012 was one of the most disappointing Eurovisions ever (except for Loreen's victory and Russia's babushkis).

I was actually betting on this one to win before, although I like Nam Lyubov Dana (the Russian version) better. ;D
