 Guatemala Confirms This one was more difficult than expected, as all of the singers i could choose from have only participated once, because all of the singers who have competed more than once have managed to qualify at least once, out of the seven artists one was already eliminated as Kepler never made a second song, and although I could send Carlos Peña I prefer to save his songs for retro, so out of Malacates Trebol Shop, Stephanie Zelaya, Fabiola Rodas, Proyecto C4, Francis Davila and Marjorie von Ahn Scheel, I saw a clear opportunity with these theme, REDEMPTION, a second chance, so Im going to send the only artist who has given me a last place on a semifinal to redeem her.  July Jones (Julija Aljaž) is 22-year-old from Ljubljana, residing in London for the past 4 years.
In edition #43 she tried her luck with "Catch Me By Surprise" but landed on 20th place in the semi-final.
Unfortunately, her old songs are all gone from the internet due to some issues with her  label at the time.
She has matured since and discovered her voice.
Now she's been working with and for many different artists, one of them being Raiven.The winning song of the Slovenian National Selection with 15/21 votes (71%) is July Jones - Jump In The Water |
