ABOUT THE ARTIST L'Aura is an Italian singer from Brescia. She started her career in 2005. In 2017, after a six-year absence, she returns with a new album called Il contrario dell'amore (The contrary of love), which contains three of her most famous songs: I'm An Alcoholic, La Meccanica Del Cuore and Unfair.

ABOUT THE SONG La meccanica del cuore is about fragility in sentimental relations. The singer was inspired by a novel of Mathias Malzieu called La mécanique du cœur, which she defined as 'un inno alla fragilità' (the fragility anthem). The song, like I'm An Alcoholic, has a sound similar to the one of the music of the 60s. The English version of this song is called Apologize.
