Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix #09
Confirmations
The ninth edition of Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix will be held in  Skjern, Denmark,
following the country's victory during last edition.
The competition will take place at the Skjern Bank Arena, Skjern, having a capacity of 3,100 people.
The hosts of the event will be NVSC participant Hannah Schneider along with Lise Rønne.
All Nordic and Baltic nations are invited to participate at the event!
The contest is scheduled to take place on 5 August 2019.
 Greenland is also able to participate.
Anyone wishing to participate for Greenland, please message me until Monday, 29 July 2019, 16:00 CET!
Remember that only Greenlandic artists are able to participate for Greenland!

 ICELAND WILL PARTICIPATE!
Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV), the Icelandic broadcaster, has confirmed that they would be participating in the 9th edition of Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix in  Skjern.
After Náttsól's respectable 4th place (tied with 3rd) in the 8th edition, there was no doubt about Iceland's participation. The contest is beneficial to lesser-known or upcoming artists in the country who didn't get the chance to participate in the main competition, and as a result helps to promote Iceland's music industry.
The act hasn't been selected as of July 27th, although it is expected that it will be presented on Wednesday, July 31st. RÚV also hasn't revealed what language their song will be in, but they are accepting submissions in English and Icelandic.

S. Kolstad to represent Norway
Norway will once again take part in Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix after another top 3 result.
Sandra Kolstad was chosen by NRK to represent the country with the song "My Yellow Heart".

 Finland confirms their participation and announces their entrant!
YLE announced that they will compete in the ninth edition of Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix which will be held in Skjern.  Finland will be represented by Dino Mansik, a duo from Turku & Helsinki. They will compete with the song Ihmeellinen timantti (A wonderful diamond). |

 PARTICIPATION CONFIRMED!
SVT has just confirmed Sweden's ongoing participation in the Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix.
The entry has been selected internally.
The singer and producer Pikes will represent Sweden with his song "Lluc De Riu".

 GRETA to represent Denmark!The host country has confirmed their act to be GRETA. The singer has reportedly applied several times for DMGP, and was eventually selected by the broadcaster for NMGP. She will be performing her song "Spin" in the contest. |

 It's Nive Nielsen for Greenland!After two consecutive top 2 placements, Greenland will take part again of course.
For the first time, the country will be represented by singer-songwriter Nive Nielsen and her band, called "Nive & The Deer Children". They will perform their song "Tulugaq"! |
