Kergle football league Announcement After a meeting on 15 May 2020 it is my pleasure to announce a restructure of thr Kergle football leagues. The next season will be different to restructure the teams in the new pyramid.
Premiership - 20/21 will relgate 2 teams as normal but will welcome 2 new teams from each of the following leagues 1st division west and 1st division east. This will increase the Premiership from 12 to 14 teams from 21/22 season
1st division west/east - will relgate 1 team from each division and gain 1 team from each four divisions below (2 will get promoted to east and 2 to west). 2 teams will get promoted from both leagues to the Premiership for 20/21. This will increase both leagues from 10 to 12 for the 21/22 season. In the 21/22 east and west will relgate 2 sides from each division.
2nd division (regional leagues) west south, west north, east south and east north - 8 new teams in each region have applied to join the leagues. All have been granted. The winner of the league will get promoted to division 1 west or east and 1 team will get relegated.
The Kergle cup - will have all 64 teams
Kastrix Motors sponsered League Cup - will be a cup just for the Premiership and 1st division clubs
Regional Cup - will have all 32 regional cup teams
This will be a different season but we hope after this we will be stronger and have more teams in the higher leagues and most of all more enjoyment from the public. The new season will start on 22/8/20 and end with thr kergle cup final on 24/4/21
