Jessica Mauboy has no connection with Timor Leste. Her father is from West Timor (Indonesian part of the island). He is born in 1958 in Kefamenanu. You can also see there that a lot of Facebook friends of this guy called Mauboy from Kefamenanu are also called Mauboy or Mauboi: www.facebook.com/mauboy.mauboy/friendsYou won't see many of them living in Timor Leste. A confusion occurred in the past due to the fact that some pages referred to Timor Leste. Probably someone made a mistake because he had no clue that Timor island was divided in two parts or because he thought that Timor Leste = West Timor. And you know how Internet works, lazy people copied that information without checking. Now this has mostly been fixed: - Wikipedia in English refers to West Timor. - Wikipedia in French refers to West Timor. - Wikipedia in Spanish refers to Esst Timor BUT the sources shown in the article refer to West Timor. - Wikipedia in Italian or Portuguese don't mention Jessica's roots. - Wikipedia in German refers to West Timor. I used to live in Timor (not the east or west parts, the bit in the middle) and I can confirm you’re totally wrong. Go read a dictionary.

Your "dictionary" won't be able to put Kefamenanu in East Timor, I'm afraid.
