Right before the deadline of the songs,  Brazilian broadcaster Rede Globo announced the song which will represent
the country in the  Own Americavision Song Contest 8. After the teaser was posted, many of the OAmSC fans were
able to suspect that Brazilian MPB artist Clarice Falcão will represent the country in the upcoming edition. She will sing "Minha Cabeça" (My Head) in  Havana uh nana. We wish her best of luck!

The 8th edition of Own Americavision Song Contest will take place in Havana na na na.
The delegations from 38 countries will send representatives for the upcoming edition. Despite initially announcing their intention to participate, Aruba decided to withdraw after the confirmations period, therefore will be fined and the delegation will receive one strike.

PRESENTER

Camila Cabello, singer, songwriter, and actress, ex-Fifth Harmony member, will be the presenter of the three shows.
The contest will take place in Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva, an indoor arena which can host up to 15000 people.
