It took me a few hours of research and finally the entry has been selected (I was so wrong to think, that with Latvia it's gonna be a piece of cake). At first you might think - I know these artists, where's the fun in that? Well, as much as I wanted to use some of the less known artists, there was only 1 song, that fit <8000 views limit, but I just used it in another contest. And I don't really fancy using one song in multiple contests, so this is what I've come to, because my options were limited (apparently dance music isn't super popular in Latvia). And there's a good reason as to why I settled for these 2 artists. Together they've had 3 participations in this contest, but only once the final was reached (with an average result). So I thought I'll give them another try. Let's hope together they can do better, although my hopes aren't very high, but we'll see.
