Václav Noid Bárta and Eva Burešová will represent Czech Republic this edition!

In a press conference held today, the Head of Delegation, Julius Horváth confirmed the entry that will represent Czech Republic in the North Vision Song Contest 32. 254 songs were submitted to the selection committee, and after a long process, the chosen song is now ready to be announced.


 
Václav Noid Bárta is a 39 year-old singer, songwriter and actor from the Czech capital of Prague, and he has been a prominent member of the Czech music scene for several years now. His distinct voice and professionalism earned him huge support among the Czech population, and he already has tons of experiences regarding music competitions and festivals. For this edition, he will be joined by 26 year-old singer and actor Eva Burešová from the city of Hlučín; who rose to fame after appearing in the Czecho-Slovakian Got Talent in 2011, and since then she got roles in numerous movies and musicals, and she also released several original songs as well. 

The song Noc (night) has been entirely composed by Václav, and it's best described as a rock-ballad that perfectly showcases the majestic voices of both singers, giving the intrumental an extra force to make it a stunningly powerful composition. The song is performed in Czech, which means that Czech Republic will once again send an entry in its native language, which will enable the country to promote this language around the whole world. IT'S RAKOVICKY FOR SLOVAKIA!

RTVS and the Slovak delegation are finally ready to present their entry for the 32nd edition of the Northvision Song Contest, in Luxembourg!



RAKOVICKY is a three-man band from Bratislava. Formed by singer-songwriter Marek Rakovicky, later joined by producers Oliver Fillner and Attila Szeiff, their dreamy music has been noted for its cinematic atmosphere and often blends elements of synth pop, R&B and alternative.

“Honesty combined with simple but timeless lyrics creates a unique piece of music.”

Their song “Cicero” is an English-language power ballad, something unique and different from what you could expect from the Slovak music industry.

After about a month of the selection process, Samra and her song "Queen" was announced as the winner of
"layihe: Northvision" thus getting a right to represent the nation in the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest 32.

IRELAND IS CANCELLING THE MALEPHOBIA
DANIEL BLUME WINS ÉIRE FESTIVAL 6!

After two semi-finals, 20 songs and 3 weeks of voting, a winner was finally found.
Yesterday it was revealed that Daniel Blume, Nadine Coyle and Talos are the top 3 of the public and that one of them would represent Ireland in the upcoming North Vision Song Contest, held in Luxembourg City.

After a close fight for the trophy, Daniel Blume managed to win the selection with a total of 251 points, being only 5 points ahead the runner-up, Talos. The winner was revealed during the Super Saturday Show hosted by AzTV, where the entries from Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Slovakia and Turkey were also presented.

Daniel is a 21 years old DJ, born in Dublin, now based in London. He has etched out a notably impressive career for himself after breaking onto the scene as a budding producer under Spinnin’ Records, making history as the first ever Irish DJ to sign to the label at just 18 years old. The song "Nights Like This" is described by himself as a tune about relapsing into the memories of a past relationship, somehow both upbeat and tragic at the same time.
