A new Salvadoran entry has been found! El Salvador will be taking part in the Own Americavision Song Contest once more. Having participated in all editions held to date, last edition's result proved to be the worst showing of the country as The Can't Evens placed 17th in the semi-final, the second Salvadoran entry to miss the final. The time has come for Telecorporación Salvadoreña to announce which will be the tenth Salvadoran song to compete in OAmSC. Travelling to the host country Puerto Rico we have Marina Laduda! Hailing from a Salvadoran mother and a Slovak father, she spent her childhood living in both Slovakia and her native California and is currently based in Prague and Bratislava. Her latest release, "Almond Eyes", is the song chosen to represent El Salvador in Puerto Rico. Best of luck, Marina, and may you bring the country back to the final! Timeslot: 2:29+ thanks a lot to hayashi 💙💛 for the suggestion! i was in deep need of new artists to send

Dominican Republic
Buscando by GTA & Jenn Morel
Written by Julio Mejia, Matthew van Toth & Jenn Morel Produced by Good Times Ahead
"Buscando" is the perfect track to lead with. It's a heavy Dembow influenced song, mixed with some tropical/dutch house percussion and really hype vocals by Jenn Morel!
The Miami-bred duo, Matt Toth and Julio Mejia have always been pioneers in their movement. While half the duo is Cuban and the other Honduran, the guys pride themselves in their culture and it shows in their music. "Growing up in Miami, we were always hearing some kind of Latin influence. Whether it may be current stuff like reggaeton or spanish rap, to old salsa classics, to Latin jazz, it was all on the radio in Miami. I (Julio) went to school for music and also got to experience playing trumpet in different kinds of bands, playing music like salsa and latin jazz. We also dove a lot into what is going on in the Latin music scene now, so we explored Dembow a bit and got a lot of influence from that for this EP."
Dominican Bombshell Jenn Morel is singer and songwriter from New York. This eclectic, Afro-Latina is an amazingly talented rapper, actress and dancer known for going viral on social media daily. With over 500,000 followers throughout social media, fans- daily, witness her authenticity, spontaneity, humor, and her jaw dropping beauty. Jenn holds humble beginnings: born and raised in the countryside of the Dominican Republic before immigrating to the United States at the age of 6. Her start in the entertainment industry was as a ͚go go͛dancer in New York City legendary nightclubs such as Webster Hall, Finale, Griffin and Pacha. The following years would see Jenn be a backup dancer for the likes of LMFAO, Neyo and appear in music videos for Drake, Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. Jenn would follow by becoming one of social media͛s top influencers- generating millions of impressions, creating viral comedy skits, and campaigns with notable brands.
