YOUR ONLINE SONG CONTEST FIRSTS!
There's a huge community of online song contest users not only in the forum but outside of it as well (Discord, FB, YT, other forums, etc.), and I'm sure we've each had some unique experiences, especially our first contest/song/country/etc. For us forum folks, maybe we can remember some of the firsts you've ever done competing in a contest. In this thread, you can share your record firsts as an online song contest user.
For some guidance, here's an example:
• First year I joined a contest:
2015
• First online song contest:
It was called "The Song," which was a FB/YT contest. It was in its 7th edition. Unfortunately, I don't think it exists anymore since the YouTube channel was deleted.
• First country:
Japan
• First song I ever sent:
"This Is Love" - Utada Hikaru
• First non-qualification:
The Song #7 (aka my first contest ever). In fact, I came last in my semi.
• First
I gave:
United Kingdom (both in the semi/final) // The song was "Flashlight" by Jessie J (and it won!)
• First contest I joined in this forum:
Mysterious Song Contest, now known as Olympiad Song Contest.
• First country I had in a SCF forum contest:
Philippines
• First song I sent in a SCF forum contest:
"Un-Love You" - KZ Tandingan
• First win:
JuniorMysterious Olympiad Song Contest // "Stand By You" - Marlisa (it was unoriginal at that point, too 
)
• First (and only) contest I ever organized:

And that's all I've got in my memories for now. You can sift through your memories and maybe share things like first male/female/group act you sent; first AQ; first last place (either semi/final); etc. There's a lot of opportunities to share.
The idea for this thread came up after "Flashlight" by Jessie J came up in my shuffled playlist. There were some fond memories. I won't be surprised if a thread like this has been made before and is just buried under stacks of threads. If that's case, I'm bringing it back.
