 Omg 10th! That's my first top 10 since  #68. I'm a bit mad that I just can't get higher than 10th though lol. Eitherways thanks for 97 points and particularly the  from  the Czech Republic.   I'm not quite the fan of the song (also it reminds me of  Bad Guy?). In fact I placed this 23rd / 26... I just hope that doesn't become a trend since  Lithuania was already my last.  However congrats to the Pablo and Spain for winning after incredible 77 editions. Tbh. I already thought that was never going to happen lol. Also this edition it came unexpected. The rest of the results are okay for me. It's just that I find  Ireland,  Portugal (which I'm very happy with though),  India and  Norway (these 2 are also overrated imo) quite random in top 6, but I'm also happy for  China,  Iceland and  Israel reaching the top 10 and  the Netherlands just staying outside. Also I'm surprised that  Finland just made the top 15 and  the top 20 both with artists who were very successful in the past. And last, but not least  Ukraine  France and  the Philippines = wat? Also congrats to  for quite some success after idk how many failures. It's just that for me it was too much bass and not much else... :/ And from the non-qualifiers in the semi  Germany, the Czech Republic (whose entry I found a bit outdated tho) and  Latvia (impressive amount of points considering that it got points from only 4 people) did definitely not deserve what they got. On the other hand I'd like to swap  Turkey and  Greece if I may say this. |

Another edition has come to its end and I am personally happy to see that my  have won!  In general, I wouldn't like to comment much on the results this time, mainly because I didn't find the edition as tough as the most recent ones. I would only like to point out that it is quite upsetting that although this edition we had 46 players, which is significantly less than what we had a few editions ago, some people still somehow "managed" not to vote in the final. I don't know what the reasons might be (I know that for 1 case there is a valid reason) but the contest is not meant to run just for the finalists to vote in the Grand Final... If you believe that ignoring us (because obviously being active and not voting is a sign of ignorance, given we made 4 public reminders in which you had been tagged) is appropriate, then I personally don't have a problem with that; I can just keep giving strike points. Maybe it'd also be better for us not to spend time posting reminders and instead just make a post once the voting opens and once it closes - I really wonder how many of you would be kicked out due to strikes if we did that. In any case, congratulations to  Spain once again for a very deserved victory and see you next edition (hopefully with more interested players). |
