"I Don't Wanna Know"

Given it's National Coming Out Day in the UK, I think it's nice to have India's first openly gay representive at the WWW Song Contest (to my knowledge). With other queer talent MRSHLL (the very first openly gay male K-pop star) being an accompaning singer on the song, and queer producer Kennen also working on this song. 

Vardaan is quoted from the article by The Line of Best Fit descirbing the meaning of the song:

"it exudes this confident energy that I don't often tap into. I wrote this song when I was freshly out of a relationship, and it's essentially about knowing what you want during a rebound phase.When you meet someone you're attracted to, but you're not interested in getting to know them on an emotional level. It's very 'let's get straight to the point'."

(oddly enough, it's my second song in a row about enjoying the ending of a relationship, alongside being the first Indian entry sung (partly) in Korean!)

The song is about the tragic death of 13-year-old Omayra Sánchez, who lost her life to the eruption of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano after three days of trapping under the debris of her house. The eruption took more than 23.000 people's lives in which Colombian authorities were considered guilty for failing to calculate the volcanic threat in advance. Slovenia's next representative took part in EMA 2018, where she caught the attention of many. In the meantime, she didn't release anything new, until now.

Lara Kadis, is a 19-year-old from Izola. She has been singing from a very early age and took part in various music festivals and events. The most recognition she received by placing 4th in EMA 2018 with a song Zdaj sem tu. She is debuting in WWWSC with a summer song Mojito.

Live Performance

After the big success of Wallners in the last edition we give another rather new group the chance to present themselves. 
Sharktank with "Washed up" will represent Austria in Vilnius. This song has been first in the FM4 charts already (an alternative Austrian radio channel) and has received quite some streams on Spotify, so let's see if it can succeed here too
