EPISODE 4 · RESULTS It is now time to start with the judges' critiques. Starting with The Carrot Tards (George J.)!
Vicky: Hi doll! You started out this season with a bang and I must say that for the second week in a row it seems like you've lost whatever made you stay out of the crowd. This remake compared to the other ones is the most basic and pretty boring if you ask me.
Neda: Once again I'm a little confused by your choice this week. Even if you wanted to go with a Miley mix I had a quick look myself and there are better Miley mixes out there than this, this just feels like the original of Wrecking Ball with some weak synths behind it. It didn't transform the song in the way that other mixes this week have done, and what we got was underdone and underwhelming. I really hope you can step your game back up.
Ika: After the audacity that was last week, I thought that you would learn from your mistakes. Clearly, you have not. Girl.... what is this. I love me a good Miley mix, and to see one of her few appearances in this contest to be in the form of this...mediocrity... it's a disgrace and honestly I don't know what convinced you to take a choice that quite easily would be dragged because of how monotone it is. And it was so easily preventable as well. This Miley's 80s mix honestly would've been a HIGH/WIN contender www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHf0ZPtfYBU You've lost your way in this competition, but I know that you're able to climb back to the top really easily.
Thank you, Carrot. Up next is Antonia di Luce!

EPISODE 4 · RESULTS Moving on to Miss Antonia (Wysteria)!
Ika: I think you need to have a good conversation with one of your many personalities and realise that this just wasn't going to cut it. I get it, you like Katy Perry, but I don't know why you'd be so blinded as to think that a mix that sounds like a randomly generated 80s academic construction would be up to the par and standards that DSR is expecting. Give us Nicki Minaj - Megatron, give us Ariana, give us something that is NOT as uninspiring as this. I think I'm going to harpoon a dolphin now. God this week annoyed me.
Dua: When I first saw this I was like, Antonia? Katy Perry? Give me something NEW??? But I really like this one to be honest. I'm a sucker for Katy, and yes, this could've been quite a disaster but it worked for me? It's a cute bop and doesn't deserve this slander from the rest of the panel.
Neda: I mean... this was fine I guess, but it didn't do anything for me at all. It literally just felt like 80s synths had been added to the song and that was it, it felt underdone especially in comparison to not only the original, but a lot of the other entries tonight. It was one-note and just not very exciting to me sadly, there was better out there.
Thank you, Antonia. Up next is Potissa!

EPISODE 4 · RESULTS Next up is Slovenian beauty, Potissa (jara)!
Vicky: I really liked this mix! It is a really nice take on a Marina song and definitely in my top this week.
Dua: Purr. Okay. I love Marina, my fellow British dell. And I liked this as well! An iconic banger paired with a cute instrumental. I also don't get why the rest of the panel didn't like it as much as I did but I'm going to come out and say that this was a serve hunny. Good luck!
Neda: This was okay, but nothing more than okay. There were some nice little touches here and there, but as a whole it fell a little flat to me, and it was a bit messy in places. Decent enough, but lacked a bit of life amongst strong competition.
Ika: Clearly you have taken some illegal substances after last week's win and decided to run with that and just think that we wouldn't see through this, to be quite frank, insult to Marina and the Diamonds. The mix... probably my least favourite of the week. I don't know what you were trying to achieve with this because I'm really thinking that this mumbling nonsense was a DISGRACE to force us, the judges to have to sit through. Do better.
Thank you, Potissa. Up next is Alinka Tcheps!

EPISODE 4 · RESULTS Moving on to Alinka Tcheps (@slywiaesc)!
Ika: It's great to finally see you on the stage Alinka. And girl.... you're here for all the right reasons! This may come as a shock to some contestants, but I was not looking forward to this week. Not at all. Most of you sent similar synth-pop, but Alinka, you gave us something we weren't expecting. I have to admire that, and you as well. Takes such a unique direction while maintaining that 80s vibe.
Dua: Oh this was absolutely what I was looking for honey. I applaud you for taking the rock way, it really worked for me! I love me some Tove Lo and I love me some Talking Body and girl, my body was talking all night after hearing this whopper. I love it. I love the buzz, the tempo, the serve, this is it for me. I'm glad that you've stepped it up since I first judged you. Keep it up doll!
Neda: You did NOT have to snap this hard girl. I feel like so far this season you've showed promise and potential but hadn't truly shone until tonight - you stood out this week in the best way. This worked so well I was slain by this mix. Great job!
Thank you, Alinka. Up next is Marta Barta!

EPISODE 4 · RESULTS Next up is Marta Barta (CHAE WITH A C)!
Neda: You did great this week doll. The first time I heard this mix it left me completely gagged, such a high energy bop. On repeat listens it does feel a little tiresome, and gets a bit repetitive by the end, but you still did a fantastic job this week, issa bop!
Vicky: I mean, this is an absolute banger by itself already, and remade into an 80s version, this slaps aswell! I'm loving the beats on this one, wig. Although your mix slapped, I must say though, my favourite this week was Miss Tcheps.
Ika: Circus by itself is a banger, and it's very hard to live up to it. Very, very hard. This properly harpooned me from beginning to end, it is a bit of a serve. It's lacking that one thing to make it a ten, but this native Warsawer really outdone yourself this week, and I don't mean that as a shady comment.
Daniel:
Thank you, Marta. Last but not least is Sapphire D. Lux!

EPISODE 4 · RESULTS Good evening Sapphire (Josh's Tattoo (Inactive))!
Neda: You definitely know how to bounce back queen! This week was the breakthrough I knew you were capable of, leaving any traces of last week behind. You took a slightly different angle from the pop girlies that most of the queens sent this week and it definitely paid off for me, this was a banger while still sounding like an 80s bop. Excellent!
Ika: Welcome back my dear. Just like Alinka, I'm really proud that you decided to take a bit more of a risk with your song, and it's definitely paid off your bills girl. This zumba class was giving, giving, eating up as it should. Yup yup. What a timeless piece. The song felt a bit samesy at parts but that's okay, that's what this week is all about!
Dua: Okay whew. This wasn't THAT amazing but certainly had a moment where it sounded very banging. The rest was quite okay for me. Still, A for the effort, keep up the good work!
Thank you, Sapphire.
Alirhgt, I think we've heard enough. While you dolls untuck backstage, the judges and I will deliberate. You may leave the stage.
