I don't think this song is from an actual soundtrack, we know its you who made this and I don't think you as a fan of the show would have been involved in making the soundtrack

The song is the soundtrack of the movie of the same name, which can be translated as "Down the River". One of the few (successful) movies of Azerbaijan's recently and gradually thriving arthouse filmography scene, Axinla asagi remains one of my favourite Azerbaijani movies dedicated to existential crisis brought by ambivalent family relations, love and separation. I could have chosen other entries with a potential to do much better, but I feel emotionally attached to this song, which also reminds me of a very tragic segment of the movie every time I listen to it. Hence, rather than trying to get a decent placing, for my part this entry will serve as a remainder of music's beautiful function of communication of our emotions.

Well, I am afraid that our current Indian player said they would like to take part this edition and have also submitted an entry that is eligible. As I mentioned to you before, they have priority so I guess you may not join us this edition. Thanks for the interest though and in case India gets free again, you will be considered.

rip then, both my countries I have parents from are taken (India and Armenia) and my home country (US) is too, I wish I at least could go for a country my uncle is from (Puerto Rico) or a country my grandpa is from (South Africa)
