Who will be the artist to showcase the nation in our debut?

Chai Kefu!

Born and raised in Taipa, Teng Chi Fong, better known by his stage name Chai Kefu, is a Macanese singer and songwriter. Performingly exclusively in the most common language in the area of Macau, Cantonese, Chai Kefu has become a staple in the blossoming indie scene found in the city-state. 

Here is the song that will be the debut entry for the city-state

WELCOME TO MONTREAL!





Nina Dobrev and Pokimane, chiefs of the Canadian Selection Committee

As hosting country, we'd like to welcome every participant to the 57th edition of Olympiad Song Contest that will be held in our beautiful city of Montreal. For the song that will represent Canada, we decided to organise a national selection entirely made of singers who live in Quebec. As reigning champion, Charlotte Cardin will have the right to defend her title. During the first phase of our selection, three songs by Charlotte will be proposed and the chosen one will go to the final stage, where other artists will compete against her.

En tant que pays hôte, nous aimerions souhaiter la bienvenue à tous les participants de la 57e édition d'Olympiad Song Contest qui se tiendra dans notre belle ville de Montréal. Pour le choix de la chanson qui représentera le Canada, nous avons décidé d'organiser une sélection uniquement avec des artistes résidents québécois. Ayant remporté la dernière édition, Charlotte Cardin aura la possibilité de défendre son titre. Pendant la première phase de notre sélection, trois chansons de Charlotte seront proposées et celle qui sera choisie accédera à la phase finale, durant laquelle d'autres artistes entreront en scène.
