THOUGHTS:
First of all, our pioneer MaRtIn has passed the baton due to their inactivity in the forum. Thank you, Martin, for starting this thread and tradition!
A big shout out to our host country El Salvador for giving us the excellent hosting, stage and production! This is one of, if not the best ones since I have started watching so well done you guys! Also to think that the stage designer is the same one as Eurovision 2023... Can EBU & MUO just permanently hire this guy?
This year is unarguably the year of history making and inclusion. Having all of the plus-size, trans and mother contestants qualified, that's a whole new page of the history, especially for a contest like Miss Universe.
The questions for Q&A for this year were unusually not hard, compared to other years. The final ones, though, were still competitive that there were not a clear winner.
For the results themselves, happy to see Pakistan successfully qualifying on their first attempt and my top 2 () of the whole year became the actual one (with different order but shhh). I still don't understand why Australia was this high but good for her and her nation, I guess!
Personally, Anntonia herself may not be among my all time favorites from my country like Chalita (2016) or Maria (2017), but she was unarguably the strongest contestant we have sent since God knows when. This might be our best shot so I don't even know if we will be able to get that third crown again or not. However, this was our first Top 3 placement since like 1988, so in the end, she still wrote a history for us.
Meanwhile, another historic moment was made by Sheynnis. This was first victory for both Nicaragua itself and technically the region of Central America! Iconic and well-deserved victory. ¡Felicidades!
Congratulations to Miss Nicaragua for making a history!
See you again in Mexico!
