Congratulations to Ukraine!!! I get people feel a bit robbed but lets be real, its a genuinely awesome song (just like Go_A who almost won last year) and its a worthy winner by all means! I'm also hope this can be a morale booster for everyone over there right now Слава Україні Go_A was a winners material and it would've been completely fair if they won... Kalush Orchestra jumped up to 1st in the odds only after the war started (before that they were only just inside top10), so the reason why they won is plain and simple...

Forgive me Ukraine and ukrainians, I'm on your side when it comes to the war, but not for this win. This was yet another political win for you. 2016 was another year, when you were no where near the top spot in odds, but somehow won... back then it maybe wasn't as obvious, why you won, but even then it was a political win. I've said it before, Kalush Orchestra are good artists and the song is very interesting, but it's not a winners material... it should've been a top5, but nothing more... even our presenter at the start of the first semifinal said that this year there will be no excitement of who could possibly win, because Ukraine will due to obvious reasons... and at the very end of the 2nd semifinal he said: "Join me on Saturday night for the final, where we'll find out which Kalush Orchestra is going to win." Yeah, their win was that obvious... I'm actually surprised that there were a lot of people, who expected different winner... As for the voting - public unfortunately were not able to avoid politics, but I'm happy that at least the majority of juries was able to put politics aside and vote as they should. As for our result - I wasn't right about us finishing last (I'm glad to be wrong about this), but I was right about us scoring more points from juries than from televote. And I never doubted that it's gonna be the case, because it's been many years now that public just forgot about us... well, except for our only "friends" in the semifinal - Lithuania and a bit of support from Ukraine. The Netherlands also gave us from televote, but that might just be the latvians that live and work there. Anyway, the biggest thank you goes to the portuguese jury, which was the only one that saw how good our song/performance was

I don't want to sound rude here, but some of yall need to chill tf out. This is the first time I've seen people be mad about a country winning Eurovision in my time watching it, and personally I'm dissapointed. I understand why some people are mad about Ukraine's recent win, saying it was politically charged and all. However some people need to understand that sometimes Eurovision can get political. And by sometimes I mean a lot. Of course that's not to say it's all political, or that politics in Eurovision is always bad. To understand it better, I recommend checking out this video. To be honest, I could also see the results having politics behind them, especially the winner; but hey, that's how it goes sometimes. I understand that a bunch of Eurovision fans are dissapointed and I can see why, but still that's not an excuse to call the contest corrupt or the people behind it online. We've already had to deal with cyberbulling last week during rehearsals. Harassing people online, whether it be the contest's organizers, the broadcasters, or the artists, is not cool. This seriously needs to stop. Still, in spite of all the BS that's going on right now, I liked Ukraine's song "Stefania", and I'm happy they won. Voting for Ukraine in a song contest may not be the ideal way to support them in a crisis, but it's nice that everyone came together to show their sympathy and their bonds with Ukraine, both inside and outside of the contest. Overall, good contest as always.

My (late) thoughts: I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! THESE GUYS GAVE THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR LIVES THERE!!! See you in Kyiv, if they are able to host next year.... BEST RUNNERS UP EVER!!! Especially the UK getting second but I wish all three of them great success in the future. I didn't think that was Top 5 material going in, but I can't blame the audience, or the press..... GREAT JOB NOT CHOKING!!! Did not expect these bops to finish that low, oh well.... Last place, but at least they got points from Europe. Overall, what an eventful week!! This has to have increased my serotonin level by about 110%. I wonder which city we'll be in in 2023....
