Hell yeah!!! A wonderful winner! I really really loved this song, and I was torn between it and the US for the 12 points. So happy for Finland! They really deserve that! |

 wow thank you so much for 2nd!! my favourite song of the year + holly is quickly becoming one of my favourite ever artists so i'm so glad people liked the song too   an expected winner but bopppp i can't complain |

First of all, this was a great edition again and I liked quite a lot of songs in the final, therefore making it hard for me to vote.  Now regarding the results...
  Really glad for this one! A great song and a very deserved winner, well done! 
 Not gonna lie this gave me  Victoria vibes and given how liked she is here, I kind of expected the entry to do well. However, as I've never been a fan of Victoria, I am not a fan of the song either and personally find it overrated. In any case, congratulations for this result!
   The best result ever for the country in terms of its final placing has been achieved after 65 editions and not gonna lie I couldn't feel happier! An amazing entry, really happy for this!
 Congratulations for this result, it was unfortunately not one of my favourites though... 
  So happy to see Malta doing well just a few editions after their first podium! Really nice song and a very nice surprise to see this so high!
 This was good but just not enough to sneak into my TOP 10... Well done for this result!

 This was so close to getting my  so I am actually finding its position very well-deserved.

  Landing just outside the TOP 10 of such a good final after making it to the final through the SCR is a very good accomplishment so I'm actually really glad about this outcome!
 I liked this but just not enough. In any case, its position is good I guess.
 Not bad but not great either I'd say. I'd perhaps rank it slightly lower given how tough I found the edition to be.
  Would have liked to see this in the TOP 10 but at least it was in the TOP 15.
 A worthy qualifier from the SCR that was close to getting points from me. Decent result!
  Finally Germany has gone for an entry that I actually love so much! Awesome song, surely underrated to be honest...

 Would have ranked this higher personally but I am glad it didn't end up flopping...
 I didn't like this to be honest... I kinda feel like this is something I've heard many times before and would ideally like to hear some other genre instead from the country.
  Very nice song, deserved much better!
  After a series of entries that felt more  French than actually Algerian, as well as some overused stuff, finally the country went for a great entry! This was very underrated imo...
 I liked this song (although it wasn't enough again ) but I guess the recap part didn't really help it...
 Well, that's clearly not the kind of music I particularly enjoy In any case, it did rather well compared to how such entries have done in the past.
 I didn't really find this to be remarkable and having qualified from the SCR I guess its chances in this final were rather limited anyway. Still good it escaped the bottom.
 This should've done better; although I'm not really a fan of it, I can surely think of some entries that I'd have placed below it...
Can't really say its result was unexpected but at the same time it could've perhaps done a bit better.
 I wasn't really a fan of that but it's sad to see it being disqualified, even if the entry wouldn't have achieved a TOP 10 result or so...

Well this has aged already  And hopefully this will go well. Especially since for once (hope that reveal doesn’t jinx it) I have actual hopes for the top 10 ... Anyway, 11th with 91 points. Thanks to everyone who voted for me and the  from the Netherlands. It's my best result since #86, yet I'm slightly disappointed by that after how it went. And also a little mad because it's the like "I-don't-know-how-many-times" th time I placed 11th or 12th lol ... But guess it can also be considered as a huge success since I qualified in a tie.  Hope this didn't come across as too salty lmao. A few thoughts about the top 3: Well congrats to Finland again. Also yay after nearly 25 editions we finally get a winner who's not a female solo artist. For me this has been the more or less predictable winner since the very beginning (aka when the recaps of the semi finals were published, but the longer it went that disappeared - and the song itself got even overtaken by Italy in my own top. It's interesting that I don't think just a few years ago Robin would've not even scored top 15 and is now winning. UK: After seeing several comments regarding the artist this outcome doesn't quite surprise me. Btw. an impressive start in the semi final voting.  China: Well that came out of nowhere. But congrats on a surprising 2nd AQ (finally!) and also new best result for China in general. Also congrats for beating Sweden with the probably most hyped song in the forum at the moment lol. Generally speaking I find especially the top 10 a little unexpected. And where did Malta and China suddenly come from towards the end? And then imo  France got very underrated and I didn't see Romania out of the top 15 myself. And finally I know that Norway got disqualified, but I'm shocked it would've placed only 17th. I thought it was going to end up something like 7th / 8th lol. I'm positively surprised by Israel and Austria and absolutely didn't see Germany getting higher than 20th at best. Also interesting results for USA and Azerbaijan. I haven't fully decided on my next entry yet. However I may go for a rock song in Swiss German, but there's also the possibility of a change of things because the Swiss music industry is pretty good at the moment. |
