Belgium announced that they will reveal their act for Eurovision 2022 next week. wiwibloggs.com/2021/09/10/belgium-reveal-act-for-eurovision-2022-15-september/266579/I think this is highly unlikely (Apashe is from Brussels which is not in Wallonia) but I want to see Apashe representing Belgium. He has a unique approach to EDM and his songs could stand out a lot. Imagine the crowd raving and going crazy over his drops, for example this one: Obviously Belgium also needs to send a good singer so they don't sabotage their chances of qualifying.

I'd love to see Belgium or the Netherlands send an EDM banger sometime but I have a feeling its unlikely sadly Genre still is getting slept on and barely ever considered...

I'd love to see Belgium or the Netherlands send an EDM banger sometime but I have a feeling its unlikely sadly Genre still is getting slept on and barely ever considered... Which is strange to me since that part of Europe is heavily renowned for their DJ's and make regular appearances in charts in many countries. Maybe the broadcasters' reluctance to send something like that stems from the fact that it falls into the "fast food music" category. The closest we have to something electronic is "City Lights," which is a masterpiece.

I mean we got JOWST and Gromee so it's not like its never been tried, but its hardly more fast food than every year ethnopop repeats
