Taken from Eurovisionworld:
"Israel’s artist and song for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be chosen on 5 February, according to the Israeli national broadcaster, KAN.
This year, Israel selects its representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 through the singing competition X Factor on the tv channel Reshet 13. The race began at the end of October 2021 and is set to culminate with multiple decisive shows over the next two weeks.
On 23 January, the six remaining X Factor contestants, Anna Stefani, Inbal Bibi, Michael Ben David, Eli Huli, Sapir Saban and Shachar Adawi, will be cut to four. A week later, on 30 January, two songs for each of the four finalists will be released. It will then be up to the public, the X Factor judges and a professional committee to choose one song for each contestant to perform in the national Final.
On 3 February, the four songs for the Final will be revealed and performed live by the artists at the Our Song for Eurovision show.
The Final on 5 February will consist of two parts. First, the four contestants sing cover songs, and one artist will be eliminated.
In the second part, the three remaining singers will perform the song that was chosen for them two days prior to the Final.
The winning artist and song will be determined by 1. The public (50%) 2. The X Factor judges (25%) 3. The professional committee (25%)."
To me it sounds very complicated lol and I had to read it a second time to understand.

So the songs were released on the weekend. I listened to all 8 of them and this is my top:
1. Eli Huli - Blinded Dreamers There's not much to say here. It's a good pop song, it's somewhat catchy (explanation: I first listened to everybody's first entry, then took a break of approximately 30 minutes - for various reasons - and then the second group. This song was 4 / 4 of the first part and when I restarted the only one I still remembered.), and he has a good voice.
2. Sapir Saban - Breaking my own walls First of all, I really like her voice in this song and that counts for both the deeper parts in the verses as well as the higher notes she hits in the chorus. And speaking of the song: To me it's a beautiful ballad, but being honest I can imagine many other people calling it a boring one. 3. Inbal Bibi - Marionette That's one impressive vocal performance she's giving here. Also the song itself is quite good, but I fear the calmer verses and the more energetic chorus don't go together that well ...
4. Eli Huli - Nostalgia Here I particularly love the instrumentation. The full song isn't too bad either, but can unfortunately be considered as leaning towards boring ... Btw. during the listening it somehow reminded me of a song that they used to play in a Swiss TV advertisement.
5. Michael Ben David - I.M My favourite part of the song are the first 30 seconds. The rest of the song unfortunately doesn't manage to keep the same level ... He has a relatively high voice which made me think whether it wouldn't possibly sound a bit better if vocalized by a deeper voice? Btw. generally speaking of this NS it's a disappointment that there's nothing in Hebrew, but I believe maybe this entry's rap part could've done in the language?
6. Inbal Bibi - ZaZa I don't like the entry. Just like mentioned at her other song higher in the list, she has a good voice and if I read correctly seems to be the frontrunner with this song (?). I didn't really feel that - instead it goes pretty much nowhere imo lol.
7. Sapir Saban - Head up It's a modern dance track, but Idk. It just didn't get to me.
8. Michael Ben David - Don't Sorry, but I don't really get this one. He's got a good voice that fits better here than his other entry. Sadly this song is just not it. It also appeared to be boring and therefore quite lengthy.

Meh my last place of the 4 songs won. It's therefore a for now ... I just hope that in case of a revamp it'll get a better song title, lol.

Not happy with the winner... They have much better ones and they managed to pick my least favourite one

A (Only listened to the studio version.) He sounds flamboyant, which means it could go either way (I'm leaning towards the bad end though). I love the instrumental, and that's all I love. Everything else feels campy and could be a potential cringe moment on stage. For something so upbeat, I don't love it overall. Unless some fine-tuning happens in the production and the presentation of the song miraculously blows me away, I think Israel might not qualify this year. It's not impossible, but I'm very skeptical with this qualifying.

It's decent. Nothing I didn't like about it. Also the performance makes this forum look like the Westboro Baptist Church.
