My top 8 of Pabandom iš naujo 20221. Augustė Vedrickaitė - Before You're 6ft Under
Augustė has a really powerful voice and just generally speaking this is a good pop-rock entry. 2. Gebrasy - Into Your Arms
Beautiful song and vocals 3. Monika Liu - "Sentimentai"
Normally songs in this genre aren't for me, but this has something that's intriguing me. 4. Ieva Zasimauskaitė - I'll Be There
A beautiful song that's vocalized very cutely. However that may be also a bit too much because it also sounds a bit tacky to me. 5. Queens of Roses - Washing Machine
First of all, what a song title. Tbh. this is pretty good and not as trashy as I thought it'd be. However personally I'm somewhat conflicted here. That's because their vocals aren't very special to me and I additionally dislike the verses. On the positive side the bridge and chorus are amazing. 6. Lolita Zero - Not Your Mother
Okay, that was a shock lol. I so wasn't expecting a deep voice. So apparently this is a drag act. As we all know these entries could be amazing in Eurovision. However this one isn't. In fact it's just so monotonous ... 7. Justė Kraujelytė - How to Get My Life Back
Not an essentially bad entry either, but I can't say I enjoyed it ... Especially the change of the instrumental at about half-point is a killer. Why? Because that's exactly where it gets annoying and repetitive. 8. Rūta Loop - Call Me from the Cold
I don't like this at all. It's also vocally and musically annoying ...

A from me for Lithuania for now. It's catchy, it's original and to top it, it's in Lithuanian (for the first time in ages)! The live staging needs some improvement from what I've seen, but I'm looking forward to what they'll make out of it.

I love that this is in Lithuanian. It adds an air of mystery to her words and actions for foreign listeners. So classy, a little seductive, and it feels so authentic. She's having fun on that stage, and I'm having fun with her. Her voice is divine. It's not all the way up there competitively, but I do take notice of this. I feel that this is a song that could go either way in qualifying. Right now, I can see this both qualifying and being robbed of qualification. It's going to depend on audience reception, but I pray it has a deserving place in the final.
