She is back to reign the stage again!Anagtaasiigunput angayuqaunqigten!Anchorage ☆ 20th January 2022Despite the good results in general of the northernmost state, the broadcaster Alaska Rural Communications Service (ARCS) revealed to the website Alaska Daily News that the interests of local artists seem to be sadly decreased, as the broadcaster received nothing after the submission deadline. Nevertheless, we have no choice left and in the end, we decided to contact the only one icon to represent us again - and thankfully, she accepted the invitation. So ladies and Gentlepeople, please welcome back the queen herself ...
Anna Graceman
★ Anna Graceman is an Alaskan singer, songwriter and recording artist whose self-penned songs and music have garnered international recognition. She has been featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America's Got Talent and CBS News. In 2014, Anna stated that she had moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her songwriting and work with the musicians there. ★ Anna was born in Juneau, Southeastern Alaska, to a stay-at-home mother, who played classical music to her before she was born. At three months old, Graceman's parents started displaying flashcards for her to read and gain word association. This sparked the love of writing music. By the time she was 18 months old, she had memorized the lyrics of many classical and modern tunes. At the age of two, Graceman was not afraid of singing in front of crowds. Anna is obviously not a stranger for OUSC fans as on November 15, 2020, she was crowned as the first winner ever of Own USAvision Song Contest over several fan favorites. She represented Alaska on its debut with her song "Night Follows" and snatched the victory. Thanks to her, the contest was brought to Anchorage and we served a cunt hosting there. Now about 1 year and half later, she publicly accepted the invitation to present the state for once again. This time she will conquer the stage again along with Nashville-based Michigander producer Tommee Profitt and the song called...
Reign Alaska in Own USAvision Song Contest 5
★Within the span of a year and a half, Anna Graceman, decided to make a comeback to the stage she beloved again. According to herself, each song could tell its own unique story. For her, they are all very personal, but Anna gives all her best to write the words in a way so other people can apply them to their own lives, to their own stories. Just like her winning entry "Night Follows", the song that she brought this time also describes its own background as well. And that's what we should be waited for 'Reign'. ★ "Maybe I'm a rebel. Rising from the dust" Graceman expressed her revolutionary heart in the lyrics. "Someday, they'll tell my story. I'll be someone you won't forget" Anna told us that she was very vulnerable when she wrote this song as she thought it’s important for people to know they are capable of being different and change the world. And that's why she is pleasured to challenge herself for once again on the OUSC stage and to make people not forget and tell about her story again - like in Los Angeles.
Best of luck to Anna and Tommee in Arizona! ☆
