Grenada has 1 question for you Are your Zebra senses tingling? St. Georges, 14 January 2021 The next Grenadian representative who will get a chance to fly with our flag to Toronto Canada has been found! The Grenadian head of delegation Miho Muise affirms that the song was officially verified by the GBN broadcasters and the Grenadian song has been confirmed. Now, it may be the time for us to introduce the Fantasia our next entrant.
Ojay Morgan, better known by the stage name of Zebra Katz, is a Jamaican-American rapper born in West Palm Beach, Florida, who is currently based in Berlin. Zebra Katz self identifies as queer, but is an outspoken advocate against the genre-label of queer rap, as he says that it takes away from his talent as a rapper and the focus away from his music. Now, you might be wondering, how can this Jamaican-American in Berlin Netflix take notes represent the spice island? The answer is really quite simple. He isn't going to be going to Canada alone. In fact, he will be joined by an OAmSC veteran. Here is that collaborator.
That's right home of sexuals. Blane Muise, better known as Shygirl is back on the OAmSC stage after a single edition away. Last time she was in the contest, she got an automatic ticket to the grand final, curtosey of Roses Gabor's 6th place finish in Montreal. There, she performed fifth in the final with her song Tasty, after Swimming Pools, and ahead of Guilty Concience. Her performance didn't seem to click as much with the continent, as she placed 23rd with 64 points recieved, a solid 40 points ahead of 24th placed Greenland. She's here to right her sails, with the beats provided by Sega Bodega.
As mentioned earlier, Shygirl and Zebra Katz will be performing a song produced by Sega Bodega. The track is a hardbass smasha from Katz' 2020 album LESS IS MOOR, entitled "LICK IT N SPLIT". This track is a sensual bop that will drown you in the baritone voice from Katz laced with Shygirl's understated flow and the hypnotic beats from the mind of Sega Bodega. If your zebra senses weren't tingling before, the will be now.
"One time for this hot motherfucker You know, I got the sauce, you got my Zebra senses tingling And I love what you do with my ding-a-ling" the hell is up with me and my spicy songs as of late<< LICK IT N SPLIT >> Replacement video -> Here <- cause geoblock Grenada in Own Americavision Contest 14 track by Zebra Katz feat. Shygirl lyrics by Blane Muise, Oj Morgan, Salvadore Navarrete music by Oj Morgan, Salvadore Navarrete, Blane Muise arrangement by Sega Bodega, Zebra KatzTimeslot: 1:36+ Grenadian History in OAmSC The spice island made our debut in the 1st edition of the Own Americavision Song Contest, with Grenadian songstress Laura Lisa's song "Awaken". Sadly, the Americas didn't awaken to the track, netting the nation a last overall finish in our debut edition. Next edition the nation qualified for the first time with Zhavea "Shut[ting] It Down", getting a 25th place. Following a non-qualification in E3, Ameena Caesar started a 3 edition qualification streak with "My Way Out", getting the best placement of a Grenadian under the first head of delegation. However, the other 2 in the streak didn't fare well, as both only managed to get 26th. The 3 editions after got progressively worse, with a 13th, 15th and 17th place in the semi respectively. In response, the GBN fired the head of delegation they've had since E1, and took edition 10 off. Going into the 11th edition, they hired the then Saint Lucian head of delegation, and instantly saw better results, with the nation getting an AQ (the nation's first lefthand side finish) with the new delegation's first entry, "I Could Be Yours" by Roses Gabor. Shygirl took the AQ banner in Montreal, where she placed 23rd in the final. Mr Killa followed Shygirl, where he couldn't infect enough of the Americas with "Macopolaritis", placing 14th in the semi. The role of representative was passed back to Shygirl, and this time, she brought Zebra Katz to Canada, with the song "LICK IT N SPLIT"
