Greek entry revealed on time
On February 9, the Greek broadcaster ERT confirmed their participation in the pre-qualification round for the North Vision Song Contest 38.   Katerine Duska (Κατερίνα Ντούσκα) is a Greek-Canadian singer-songwriter. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, and currently resides in Athens, Greece.
In 2018, her single 'Fire Away' was selected for the official "Nescafe Canada" television & radio ad campaign.
The following year , she represented Greece in the  Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with her hit song "Better Love", making the top of Greece's iTunes Chart. Duska co-wrote the song with Leon of Athens and David Sneddon (Lana del Rey, Lewis Capaldi) and produced it with Phil Cook (Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith). The song received extensive international airplay, charting in over 40 countries worldwide and making the Global Viral Top 50 chart on Spotify.
Her follow up single ‘Anemos’ that same year, made the top 3 of Greece’s Viral Top 50 chart on Spotify as well as the Greek iTunes Chart.
On February 24, she was publicly announced as the Greek representative for the Northvision Song Contest 38. Due to the latest placement, she will be obliged to participate in the pre-qualification round and compete for a ticket to the United Kingdom. In the next Greek entry, Katerine said she poured her heart and soul and question about her relatioship by expressing her feeling via lyrics. Is it over? Are they gonna make it better? Are they out of time? Now, we can finally reveal the song that Duska chose to be our entry and it is called …

NORTH MACEDONIA CONFIRMS! 24th February 2022 • Skopje, North Macedonia Earlier This Morning, the North Macedonian Delegation team discussed their future in the Northvision Song Contest. Following the non-qualification from the PQR, last edition, now being in the Semi finals this edition. All members expressed their interest to Continue Participation at the Worldwide Contest.
"The Desire and Interest of the contest is still very lively in the North Macedonian Public. We are changing things up once again for this edition. More Informationon that will be revealed soon!" Jozels returns for  Estonia!
4 editions after reaching the final with his song Milka, DJ Jozels was once again selected to represent Estonia at the biggest stage possible: the North Vision Song Contest. But before he can do that, Jozels has to go through the PQR, a challenge hes willing to take: "I think my song is strog enough to shine in the PQR as well" the DJ was quoted. The Estonian delegation is delighted to get the chance to send such a succesful artist to the PQR.
The song selected is called Holdin' on to your Silence. Combining the deep house that Jozels brought to the stage with Milka with a more romantic spin, the song manages to give the song both a nostalgic feeling as well as just pure danceability.

 The Luxembourgish language makes a debut! Last edition, Luxembourg sent Tali Golergant with her song Deep Blue. Unfortunately, it continued a streak of non-qualifications that started with Luka Kloser. As such, the selection committee at RTL decided that enough was enough - it was time to send something different. That resulted in Nosi & Turnup Tun's song Schëdden being chosen, with the song marking the first ever in Luxembourgish in the contest.

PORTUGAL CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!
Today, the official Portuguese broadcaster, RTP, has confirmed the Portuguese participation in the thirty-eighth edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
Once again, RTP has decided that a national selection will be held to select the Portuguese entry for this edition of the contest. Twelve different entries will compete in the grand final of Festival da Canção.
