VOTING IS NOW CLOSED. 51/58 countries voted +3 replacement votes.
Seven countries failed to vote. Among them are three of our finalists: Taiwan, Netherlands, and Lebanon. However, EtCetera asked for a replacement vote, so they will not be penalized. Jmain will replace Taiwan. Gilberto will replace Netherlands. And justin05 will replace Lebanon. No countries disqualified... phew! Thank you to our replacement voters!
Overall, here are our non voters who did not vote without notice:
- Netherlands (Mark K. ) will get their first strike. - Lebanon (Sel ) will get their third strike.
- Albania (Apostolis ), who already got their third strike in the semifinals. - Croatia (LazyPam ), who will get their second strike. - Greece (Vaios ), who will also get their second strike. - And Singapore (Jacob ), who will get their first strike (seventh overall).
With the year literally about to wrap up, I'm going to get these results out overnight, so... stay tuned! Look forward to another awesome and potentially thought-provoking set of results.
UPDATE: Maybe not overnight. Midway through doing the results video, and I'm so drowsy.

My bad, sorry. When I wanted to vote, I got a high fever, severe headache and ended in bed for several days. It turned out I got Covid (after avoiding it for literally three years) and infected my almost entire family.

My bad, sorry. When I wanted to vote, I got a high fever, severe headache and ended in bed for several days. It turned out I got Covid (after avoiding it for literally three years) and infected my almost entire family. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you and your family are well now or are at least recuperating. Getting COVID seems like a terrible experience. Unfortunately, the deadline has passed and results are locked in, so I can't reverse the strike.

gf results reaction i'm not shocked. deserved i didn't expect to q, so i'll take my streak i'm ready to feast in e71 cause t&t been feeding me well not suprised, just suprised ROBBED AS FUCKKKKKK why is this so low i hate y'all i forgot about this lmao THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS TO EVER BE IN NNMC WHY YALL HATE FORMER PORTUGUESE ESC STARS. FIRST MISS PASCOAL NOW CONAN? THE FUCK robbed this was in the final? could not remember ha this had 95 points too many, and it only had 82. luiri, you are on thin ice for making me listen to this saltine ass man in the year of our lord 2022 y'all really just hate talented women of colour i guess. robbed it's no karate, but a mild banger ig cat music is a shit stain on the musical world, and this is one reason why. god this is so bad it's cute ig this is a song that's for certain yep. this is dana al fardan. that's all i can really say about it. she's got one style, but she does it so well by far the best pop slut drop we've had in nnmc in the past 3 years. wig slay wig luna ki slapped me in the face and called me a f-word and i loved it. honestly robbed what is it with france doing well with spanish? also this drop sucks i fell in love with this from the colors show, and this is gorgeous. i should've given her more points ngl see romania it's no too much, but miss william keeps serving us alt irish bops and i love ha for it stan leiomy maldonaldo it's fine, but taiwan has served so much better craigslist black briar. should've nqed if we are being honest i see this as a massive win for latinas. isabelle lovestory ate this shit up i'll see this as a trini win. it's not a nicki song i stan, but it's a win for me god why can't monte serve this kind of music at esc? honestly, fucking slayage. congratulations i can't believe i live in a timeline where misses sampha and angelique take us to africa for the first time since malawi (i think). angelique grandmothered so hard and i love her for that japan robbed and see you in cotonou or porto-novo. probably cotonou

Thanks for an amazing year for Hong Kong! Happy to take home with 24th since the song is quite experimental. Hyperpop is really rare to find in Hong Kong as most people don't like this type of music. "Boring" reminds me of Slayyyter's "Stupid Boy" with the metallic instrumentation. Thanks Ealex, nakoto and chim for the 10 points, and Sylwia for the 8 points! Next edition I will gather more songs and see if I will go for an NS as December releases are rather meh. Full reactions: WOWWW!! What a historic moment for NNMC I certainly wouldn't have clocked Benin to take home this edition. This is also rather lowkey and there are other songs I think would sound more instant, but this is a decent surprise. I wasn't very enthusiastic about this song but I really like to see this win. Congrats Mihai! It was a decent Balkan pop song with great instrumentation and production. I wasn't as captivated as Serbia's entry though, so seeing this coming 2nd is a bit of a surprise as well. Nonetheless, well done to Wysteria for the 2nd place! I thought this would win if not sweep! Tukoh taka chorus is just so memorable and iconic... It's brainwashing! I don't understand at all why there is so much hate on this song... StraightTM m*n just baffle me at times... This is an extremely beautiful ballad by Nemahsis. Her voice is delicate but filled with emotions. The instrumentation supports it well. The song moves me a lot. Great to see this in the top 10 but I hope it could've finished higher! Well done Non Daniela Lalita has a really special brand of art pop. Her songs in the album all have a unique personality and soundscape, but they all fell short in the end, yet this is different. This is so jarring but mesmerising at the same time. The vocal effects are astounding, with some epic instrumentation. I like the length of the song and the haunting outro is impeccable! This is the discovery of the edition for me. This deserves to be in the top 10. I preferred his ballads a lot and Loic Nottet did a fabulous job with this. It was an emotional song and the strings are lovely. This is heavily robbed. This is a well-produced Israeli pop song. Finally the form is back for the Israeli pop industry. I love the chorus with the heavy beats, which is then evolved with a couple of strings and more beats. The buildup is nice too, and it varies enough which keeps my attention. This should've won personally! This is filled with personality. The rap is smooth. The production is slick. The beats are awesome. The buildup is tense and introduces the quick rap well. However, this got top 10 so well done to superjonno! This is a really good discovery for me. The chorus is really catchy and the harmony is interesting. This is also kinda lowkey but I like the overall vibe. The song changes up every now and then. It makes a good banger. This being at 21st is a crime. Well done hayashi for the discovery though! It's in the same league as Agoney for the guilty pleasure here. The chorus slaps hard with the bass and beat. It wasn't sonically interesting but I was enthralled by the heavy production here. Great to see this finish 11th. Well done Niall! Oops I should've pointed this a lot higher here. This is an amazing discovery. It is really unique in terms of harmony and melody. The use of microtones as embellishment for the melody makes this song a unique listening experience. The vocal style is also unlike what I hear usually. It fully shows the other side of music. I'm totally enthralled by this. Well done Anton for the discovery! This song should've finished in the top 10 for its uniqueness. This is a decent song and a good collaboration. Yelle's music can be really avant-garde though this is a lot more accessible which is somewhat disappointing but it still bangs. A bit too low for me sadly Commiserations: This is a great discovery for me. It's catchy and memorable, and I'm getting to terms with this song. I think this could grow even more for me. Balkan music surely had a good year! The chorus kinda got stuck in me. It was catchy and I can't make it not bop. Great to see this at number 4. Well done Julian! And to everyone, happy new year and hope to see more bangers next year!

Is this the first time here my suggestion actually does this well and gets a top 5? Congrats mate an amazing result! Even though i would have absolutely loved it higher! In my honest opinion, we need more of these rock/metal slayage songs in contests! The genres tend to be very overlooked and underrated most of the time on the forums, so i am extremely happy to see this happen! Congrats on your win Very unexpected for me, but also great to see an african winner Congrats to anyone else who feels happy with their results as well! Not much to say about my result tbh. I hoped for much better with such a selection i tried to put together, but having this as the winner and me actually growing tired of this song since the selection did not promise a good result and it shows lol Last in the semi eh. Don't know how the hell this song ended up winning over everything else in the selection anyways Well i sure hope i can bounce back from that next time and maybe i will go back to internal for a bit. We will see
