To be honest... a lot of this contest's songs were hard to remember. Maybe there was a reason they never won in the selections they took part in. Sorry that I couldn’t have anything substantial to comment.
But I at least still have to commend these for getting the opportunity to be exposed and noticed one way or another in this contest.
Well... that sucks. I honestly did not think much of the song though. With that said, I know you're going to be taking the reins next month, so you have more control over your destiny.
That video is just something. As much as it is trying to be a banger, I'm having a hard time getting hooked to it.
I gave this my
because it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. I had recently seen Kalush Orchestra in concert back in November and wanted to check more of their discography. Hearing the contrast between Tember Blanche's tender vocals with Kalush's signature rapping was a sweet treat.
Jaguar Jonze has better songs. It's nice though.
The song title is "Ukulele." It's the only reason I remembered it. This has an interesting drop, but it's hard to grasp onto something otherwise.
The audio really compromised the quality on this. But despite that, I could tell the song bangs really hard. Underrated.
Low-key wanted to try and get you a win somehow, but I could only give you mid-points because the songs I ranked above were massive standouts. It's a decent song, too.
What a banger and it's got a catchy hook! This could've made it into the main contest and I may have given it points.
I'm content with finishing on the left side. Thank you for voting for Philippines, and the several 12 points I was surprised to receive.
I think this should've placed higher. Out of the tracks here, this was among the most polished sonically.
It's cute. It's nice. Congratulations on making it in the Top 10.
Hydrogen was so robbed in the national selection, so in my opinion, this was a bit robbed of a higher placement. Still, 9th is nothing to be down about. Well done!
This is still a good song by Taeyeon, but she peaked in 2015-2017 when she put out bops like “I” and “Make Me Love You”. “INVU” is one of her stronger songs in recent memory though, so well done on placing 8th.
Another song that I barely remembered sorry, but emphasis on "barely." From what I can recall, it's good. This is a result to be happy with.
Not my cup of tea, but I know a bunch of users that are suckers for this kind of sound, so I expected the result. Well done!
This definitely was a standout, which helped it get the points and placement it got. Deserved placement in my opinion
Huh... I had this pegged as a possible winner. I thought this would've been fighting for the win, so 4th place is quite shocking. This is so high-energy, so over the top that I thought it would stand out because of that. Still, I should be happy it even did this well. Congratulations!
It's Nathy Peluso, so of course she would be a contender for the win, and I would've believed it. It's not only unique, but it packs a punch that helps it stand out among others. Great choice for the SCC. Congratulations on placing 3rd!
This is another song that I felt would be fighting for the win. Personally, I would've preferred this over the eventual winner. It's so catchy, so energetic, so fun!
A cute and quirky banger! I've seen this song circulating around the forum, so clearly there was some attention to it. I get the appeal, and even though it's not my personal winner, I respect the victory because it's quite good and not unlike the usual Israeli bops. Congratulations, Roy! I think you've secured your first ever NNMC win? Happy that we've been getting users winning for the first time in these recent months.
Well done to all of us! And I want to thank
Tufkai for hosting this unusual idea of a spinoff. It really gave us more opportunities to be exposed to these songs.
