Agradeço pela oportunidade de representar esse país e desejo boa sorte ao próximo que assumir essa delegação!!! você pode pegar outra nação sem sair do concurso. mas se preferir esperar por países melhores não precisa retirar, é só segurar montserrat até trocar. talvez você possa encontrar algo bom aqui também: forum.songcontests.eu/thread/20586/own-americavision-song-contest-suggestionsOk MG, we will have a meeting today at 20:00 BRT (00:00 CET), to decide if we will participate in this edition, looking at the options available in the suggestions, or if I will hold the country until a better option comes along.

OUR DECISION HAS BEEN MADE!!! MONTSERRAT CONFIRMS!!! Yes, our decision has been made!!! After a long story, which even led to the resignation of the delegation leader, I had the honor of having great help from MG , who gave me several music suggestions for the competition. So at the meeting held at 20:00 BRT (00:00 CET) on Friday, February 24th, all the songs were listened to and we liked many of the ones we heard. With that, we made the decision to participate in the 16th edition of the Own AmericaVision Song Contest! We are very happy to be able to once again be present in the largest musical competition in the Americas. And the song? What will it be? We haven't decided yet. We liked several of them, but only 1 song can represent us in the competition. Our representative will be revealed on Sunday, February 26th, at 15:00 BRT (19:00 CET). Once again, I want to thank MG for the huge help and I am very grateful for all the support you have given us. Plymouth, February 26th, 2023 MONTSERRAT REAVEALS YOUR REPRESENTATIVE!!! "Don't tell me it's too late, to say goodbye to you" The Artist With his 2008 breakout hit "Sun Goes Down; singer/songwriter and ebullient live performer David Jordan emerged as a promising British pop star. Born David Keith Jordan in 1985 in Barnet, London, England, to a Montserratian mother and a Calcuttan father, he began writing songs as a teenager, drawing from influences such as Prince, Lenny Kravitz, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, and Jimi Hendrix. In time, his song "Sun Goes Down" caught the ear of Jill Sinclair of ZTT Records, who referred Jordan to her husband, veteran producer Trevor Horn. Jordan was in turn offered a recording contract with Mercury Records and released his debut album, Set the Mood, in 2007. Produced by Horn, the album was promoted with the lead single "Place in My Heart; which was made available as a free download on the website of the British newspaper The Sun. Though Set the Mood debuted meagerly at number 98 on the U.K. albums chart upon its release in October 2007, it subsequently rose to the upper reaches of the chart, particularly after the release of the follow-up single "Sun Goes Down; 1a Top Five hit on the U.K. singles chart, and third single "Move On" - Jason Birchmeier In this 16th edition of Own AmericaVision Song Contest, the artist we chose to represent Montserrat is David Jordan, singing the song "Too Late". In the last edition in Jamaica, we suffered the last position, having the worst performance of Montserrat in the history of the competition. But for the edition that will be held in Puerto Rico, David Jordan wants to charm hearts and move everyone with his beautiful song. We will start our journey in the quarterfinals, but with the dream of finally taking Montserrat to its second final. And I want to thank MG , for the suggestion of this beautiful song, and we are confident that Montserrat will show a beautiful demonstration of overcoming this season! We will not give up!!!
