All internally as well as nationally selected entries must be sent to the council through this form for approval.

You are granted a maximum of two approval submissions that can be sent through the form. There will be no approvals after the second one - please think carefully before you send us your entries! Once your entries become approved, you will receive a notification from the NBU council and the approval sheet can be viewed here.

As of the 38th edition, the meaning of the submission and presentation deadlines will be slightly different. First of all, the submission deadline will now mean that delegations must either have one internally selected entry or a finalised national selection line-up by this deadline. Delegations will still be able to send lists of songs if they really need to, but must have a final decision before the submission deadline. This is due to an influx of delegations sending lists of 5+ songs to the council that are ultimately internally selected past the submission deadline, which causes unnecessary hassle for the council in more ways than one.

Additionally, any timeslots or replacement videos must now be submitted to the NBU by the presentation deadline to ensure that they will be used in the contest. Any timeslots or replacement videos sent after this deadline will not be guaranteed and the NBU will work to select a 30-second timeslot, or create a 30-second replacement video, after this deadline. This is to make the creation of sneak peeks and recap videos as swift and easy as possible and to prevent any further waiting time.

Please note furthermore that entries now have to be sent through the form link above for approval. The council will not be accepting PM approvals as of now. Once your entries have become approved, the council will notify you. A misuse of the submission form will be subject to punishment.

Romania will take a one edition break. After the disastrous result from the last edition, and petition from the fans, TVR has no choice but withdraw from the competition. It is unknown whether there will be a new broadcaster to take over or if a return under TVR will happen.

Iceland confirms!

RÚV has confirmed that Iceland will compete in the 41st edition of North Vision Song Contest to be held in Austria.

After a successful edition in Greece, where Laufey brought Iceland back to the final for the first time since the 37th edition and gave them one of their best showings in the contest, a 9th place, there were no doubts within the delegation about participating again.

Viewing figures have also improved drastically from the 39th edition, which show that the contest is starting to regain its popularity within Iceland and among the general public.

An internal selection will be held to choose the Icelandic representative. RÚV is currently accepting submissions until the end of May 2023 and will reveal the chosen act in early June.

With a fifth consecutive non-qualification, 2M had enough with their previous head of delegation, who has subsequently took over the Moldovan job. In their place, 2M decided to take the Irish co-head of delegation, who took the position up while they were still in Switzerland. There is no definite decision on the selection process as of now, but rumors suggest that an internal selection is imminent, with the head of delegation working on plans for a national final, potentially with fellow Maghrebis Algeria and Tunisia.

San Marino confirms participation for NVSC 41!

San Marino RTV will be there in the next edition

Despite the poor result of the last edition,
San Marino will be there and will try everything at the PQR.

HoD: The microstate cannot be missing in this new edition organized by the splendid Austria.
The selection methods will probably change, since the time will be limited, compared to the start from the semifinal.

"We are already at work for the new edition and we hope to reach the semifinals and possibly the final. But the road will be long and full of obstacles. We don't give up and we will continue to fight with the music".

• Latvia confirms for the 41st edition •

Although rumored by Latvian fans, due to LTV's silence after the non-qualification of the Baltic state in the PQR of the 40th edition, however, the eventuality of saving money due to not travelling to Greece has ended up being a beneficial gain for the broadcaster, and is able to confirm Latvia's presence in the 41st edition of the contest.

However, due to the lack of money, and trust towards national selection voters, Latvia will be selecting their entry through an internal selection, with an entry expected to be selected in June 2023.

SHALOM NORTHVISION!

This morning, KAN confirmed the Israeli participation in the 41st edition of the Northvision Song Contest, held in Austria. The head of delegation Maxim Raevsky added:

"We're so proud of Lola Marsh for reaching the grand-final and ending up 15th in Athens. We hope we can enter the Top 10 in the near future!"

Once again, the Israeli entry will be chosen through the national selection show Israelifest. This 7th edition is titled "Shir Le'Ostria".
Newcomers and established singers from Israel and beyond are invited to submit their potential entries via www.kan.org.il/northvision

Hungary confirms their participation in the next edition

DENMARK CONFIRMS THEIR PARTICIPATION 

After Dayyani's Top 10 finish with her song "Up N Down" in the recent edition, public interest of the Northvision Song Contest has increased among Danish fans. This means Denmark Radio can confirm their presence for the 41st edition held in Austria.

The delegation has opened an open call to seek for artists interested in representing their country in the upcoming edition, done so via a Suggestion Form, where anyone can submit song suggestions via this form. 

The Danish entry for the Northvision Song Contest will be revealed somewhen prior the 19th June and is currently expected to be an internal selection.
