GEORGIA CONFIRMS

Nearly making it to the final last edition with Sopio T, Georgia is more determined to return to the final after confirming their participation for the 43rd Edition of the contest that will be held in Montenegro. The selection process is still being decided as of the moment but there were reports of conducting a possible new national selection to select their entry to the contest. Stay tuned for more updates.

- Andorra confirms their participation in the North Vision Song Contest #43 -

Despite the Andorran Head of Delegation stepping down from its position in the NBU council, the broadcaster has confirmed that they will still take part in the contest and have no intention of withdrawing. In a press conference it was also revealed that the next entry has already been chosen internally and will mark a new milestone for the small micronation. Stay tuned for more information!

THE NETHERLANDS TO COMPETE IN MONTENEGRO!

AVROTROS can officially confirm that The Netherlands will be competing in the 43rd North Vision Song Contest, to be held in Montenegro.
After showcasing the Kurdish language and a successful 20th place for Naaz, interest is still high in the Netherlands in NVSC.

AVROTROS is rumoured to be selecting the entry internally, but the idea of a national selection is still being floated within the broadcaster.

San Marino confirms participation for NVSC 43!

San Marino RTV will be there in the next edition

Among various difficulties, San Marino waited until the last day to confirm
our presence at NVSC 43.

HoD: Qualifying for the final with Annalisa gives us the push to move forward in a competition that is increasingly stronger and more competitive. So
will take part in the new edition hosted by  Montenegro.

"This time we are late with the preparations, the national selection, the Festival dei Castelli, could be organised. The last days of could be decisive for the future of the country in this edition".

BELGIUM CONFIRMS!

Brussels, 3 March 2024

Belgium has confirmed its participation in the 43rd North Vision Song Contest, set to take place in Montenegro. Following a successful qualification to the final with Pierre de Maere's "Mercredi" and surpassing expectations, Belgium is determined to continue its momentum. 16th place finish was met with great enthusiasm, sparking interest among local artists to submit their songs for the upcoming edition.

Discussions among Belgian broadcasters have hinted at the potential comeback of a national selection process for choosing their entry. However, for now, it remains speculative chatter. While several newspapers have speculated on potential contenders eager to try their luck in the contest, no official announcements have been made. Although the selection format remains unknown, the primary focus lies in selecting another performer capable of delivering a stellar performance and elevating Belgium's position in the competition.

More information and details regarding the Belgian entry are expected to be released in due course.

Österreich bestätigt!

Austria confirms participation & national selection to be held.

ORF has announced that Austria will be the take part in the 43rd North Vision Song Contest, subsequently confirming its participation in the same edition. The country previously managed to place 14th with 96 points by the current delegation, with Anna Chiara's "Pizza" ahead of the Croatian (15th, 96 points) and behind the Cypriot (13th, 100 points) entries, who sadly failed with us in Semi-Final 2.

Besides this announcement, it was also revealed that Austria will select its entry through public national voting after a successful launch of the new selection, which means that 'Länder-AT' will be held in advance of the song contest. The Head of Delegation noted the format will stay the same, specifying that every Österreichs Länder (Federal states of Austria) will attempt to take part!, Nonetheless, ORF whole-heartedly welcomes all varieties of genders and musical backgrounds.

Submissions for artists and entries have opened and will close at a later date. ORF has confirmed that the Olympiahalle in Innsbruck, Tyrol will host the selection after the victory of the state last edition, there's an expressed wish for more diversity in the regional background of the country, regardless of the artist.

CROATIA CONFIRMS
FOR THE 43RD NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST.

ZAGREB • 3 MARCH 2024

Hrvatska radiotelevizija have confirmed both their participation and broadcasting of the upcoming North Vision Song Contest in  Montenegro. This is set to be the second edition under a new delegation. Despite Nika Turković's "Sam(a)" not qualifying at last edition in Lisbon, the Croatian delegation remains optimistic about Croatia's chances in both next and future editions, with Head of Delegation Sujana Starčević being quoted saying "...we had some kinks to work out but I still believe our team has what it takes to produce a winning product...". 

Rumors have been circulating regarding the popular national selection Dora making a return after last year's internal selection. Several high-profile artists have expressed interest in representing the coastal nation at the pan-European contest regardless of the methods of selection. Still, the broadcaster has been silent regarding plans to select this edition's entry, with more set to be revealed over the next week.
