I'm sure there's quite a few kpop songs with tempo changes and genre changes, but who can do it like aespa? No one! They really managed to bring it into the mainstream kpop music in a proper, entertaining way. The choreo is really iconic, the MV as well and this whole pack turns it into a really amazing song, giving it a legendary status. This is further proved by the fact that when I spent time with my friend groups at house parties, this song would be one of the few kpop songs to play (with me bf and another friend doing the hand choreo at the chorus), and if you can make a kpop song tolerable by Slovak people who don't listen to kpop, then it's reaaaally good. Like you can't just argue with that. Next Level brought us the quality, the choreo, the experimentality, the unequivocal flawness, and the legendary status!
