I've also noticed that the same thing has happened in next edition of ISC. Two Serbian artists have been chosen to present Bosnia & Herzegovina. As Rick said, it should also be the hosts responsibility to make sure the artists have roots from the chosen country as well as the user so it's partly my mistake. Because of that I won't be disqualifying the entry. I can understand your disappointment but at the same time you have to think of it this way; If all ex-Yugoslavian artists can represent each country, does that mean all ex-Soviet Union artists can also represent each country that was part of that? Same with any other previous countries that have now become independent. It would all become a bit out of hand. But it's totally the hosts decision. Some contests will allow it, some wont. It's nothing personal

In my case you can't actually be sure the artists have roots from the chosen country.. In they say Saša matić is a serbian artist, but he's born in Zvornik... It's because 90% of singers are borned in Yugoslavia.... That's the main problem

As I said... Zvornik, ;D I'll think about this one more time, because my brother is going to make a new CD with 10 of his songs, so for now I have 10 songs for one contest... and then....

It's a case of trial and error really and finding out where a singer originally was born, for example some singers like Julia and Lena from tatu, their wikipedia profile both say "Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union" - but that mean that you know they can only represent Marija Šerifović - "Kragujevac, Socialist Republic of Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia" so = But referring to some of Jasmin's artists: Darko Lazić "was born in Brestač (Pećinci municipality) a town in Serbia" so is valid Feminnem straight away their wiki says "was a girl group from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina" ... So it's like Jessica says, it's all about checking

It's hard to say, it's like saying that Kylie could represent the UK because "she holds a British passport and Australia is part of the commenwealth"...
It's trial/error really :/

Yes, because I guarantee you that at least 75% of artists have either identity card or a passport... We call it "dvojno državljanstvo" or translated into dual citizenship... It's confusing
